What is in your must have Amsterdam travel kit?

Post by amstajunkie »

I have always grabbed one of those tiny little metal pipes and a pack of papers from the first shop I go in to. I think I would rather try something else this time. I never use the papers because I cant even roll an american sized joint much less a dutch one.

I was thinking about stopping in a headshop and picking up:

Grinder
Large glass spoon
Butane if they have it

I am going to bring:

Ipod
Kindle
Camera
My badass Xikar Pulsar triple flame lighter (This thing sucks down the fuel , which is why i mentioned the butane)

Whats on your list?

Something that is always in my pack is my GustBuster, a collapsible umbrella.
This is for all travels, not just Amsterdam.

Enjoy

Excellent thread idea.

I carry nuts. Usually cashews. Sometimes some dried cranberries and brazils or wallnuts. Also water and snacks if I can be bothered to plan ahead.

Also have a smell proof plastic bag with all my smoking gear inside. The most useful thing in Amsterdam? A joint tube! Don't know about you but I can never finish off a strong ams joint when solo. Have to pinch it halfway usually.

My laptop for minecraft/music/counter-strike.

Oh and a good selection of socks.

Come to think of it, Google maps with all the coffee shops set as starred places is very useful too (on my mobile).

The only thing I must have in my Amsterdam travel kit that has any significant meaning is.............a proper attitude.
Everything else can be acquired in Mokum...

Awesome topic :!:

Always to to make a list prior to going to avoid forgetting things, but usually end up forgetting something from my list. (Maybe not next time now tho  )

My Roor Bong
Roor Bong Bag
Bong Cleaner
Grinder with Keif Compartment
Smell Proof Bags + DVD's + Selotape + Jiffy Bags (Self Explanatory)
2x Turbo Flame Lighters (like a spare as usually these things break with heavy use)
ACD Map x 3 (For Spares and Giving out if Others Need)
1x Bee Line Thick Wick Spool (usually only pull about 50ft off and make a mini spool as im only there 4 days or so)
10x Dri Kule Gauzes (love these things for inside Carbon Filter Adaptors + in general)
List of Shops + Smokes that are of current interest
10 pack of cigarettes + Blue Rizla (The craving for spliffs always arise at some points throughout the trip even though I am religously a bong man usually).
Passport
Money
Tickets
Camera
Phone
iPod

I think that's about it. Maybe ..

Hope this helps remind a few others and myself on trips to come :D

It's a kind of a thread, you light it then you use it to light your bowl, and you get no butane in your lungs. I thought it was bullshit before buying some but you can definitely taste a difference
