Was there on 14th and 15th jan, had no issues anywhere using wraps or the tornado cigar style blunt cones.
I rolled two spliffs, so I guess I'm double jointed

Re: Blunts in coffee shops
ROFLMAO.
dude. having a bag of rolliing tobacco and being asked to it away is TOTALLY different than rolling a blunt.
they will get fined with cig's and rolling tobacco.... no issues with blunts.
like i said, stop being paranoid

Re: Blunts in coffee shops
Tru, but a real blunt has some heavy smoke, blunts r a lot thinner but oh well and only one way to find out
Re: Blunts in coffee shops
A proper blunt wrap is made from tobacco leaf, which if smoked on the premises can get the location a fine, what part of 'Tobacco ban' are you having a problem understanding?.dconstrukt wrote:ROFLMAO.

@ DC.... dude... you're a nice guy... we met in person, but your comment to me is pretty douchebag-ish.
MIGHT be a good idea to actually read the thread and the OP's comments before making stupid comments and insulting people.
just a thought pal.
they're made from tobacco? no shit sherlock!
smoke 'em all day long.
never had any problems before... in any coffeeshop...
no one ever asked me to stop smoking 'em... ever...
I've seen them ask ppl to put out tobbacco or open cigs.... never any issues with blunts.
NONE of the comments in the thread or in his links mentioned blunts.
5-0 must be rolling around with the fines now... or they got stricter as of right now.

Re: Blunts in coffee shops
Every single shop I went to last summer had people openly mixing tobacco in to their joints and I didn't see a single person get asked not to. Yeah it's banned, but no one cares is the message I took from it. That said don't be a dick head about it, if they've started to hand out fines recently than it could certainly be an issue so just ask. Worst case is they say no and you just smoke a regular join instead.

Re: Blunts in coffee shops
The part were your brain is only interested in whether you could smoke blunts and doesn't givea toss about whether or not, ya should smoke blunts. Just because YOU have had no issues with smoking blunts "ALL day long" when you're in Amsterdam, doesn't mean it's not Illegal and to do so CAN result in the permises your in getting fined. Cigs or rolling tobacco are indeed totally diferent to smoking a blunt, but only because they can actually be put in a joint discreetly. Where as, wrapping the outside of your joint in a brown tobacco leaf kinda gives the game away. When an issue does occur it'll come in the form of a health Inspector from the government approaching a member of staff and explaining to them the reason they're getting fined 1000 euro is because of the idiot who's smoking a joint wrapped in a tobacco leaf. At this time, if that idiot is you, are you going to pay the fine?, or will you just stand there with a dumb look on your face exclaiming "You guys let me". Lemme guess, option 2?. The Smoking feds have been continually fining places since the law first came in, they're no more stricter now than what they have always been, perhaps a little more organised, anybody saying anything else is simply basing that on rhumor and hearsay. But if they don't visually see anybody clearly smoking tobacco, they'll generally not bother testing the air content and move on. Finally, in reply to your 12 hour later ,"holy shit was he just rude to me" epiphony, the douchebaggish tone originally came from you replying to Billyriz. Maybe that's because you're the douchebag?, the worst type of tourist, "Oh my mates that live there said this and my mates said that and until somebody tells me not to, I'm gonna do whatever the hell I want, fuk the rest of y'all". Yeah, nice attitude...dude.dconstrukt wrote:@ DC.... dude... you're a nice guy... we met in person, but your comment to me is pretty douchebag-ish.12 hour edit
