I understand this, which is why I never go to the CC in Amsterdam, even though there are a bunch of you good peeps I'd like to hang with. That being said, Denver is only 3 hours drive for me and I do feel it's worth supporting. So this pretentious fucktard will be counted along with the others.
I reckon I'll get flamed for this, but I'll skip Cypress Hill since I feel they're nothing more than a novelty band among stoners. Of course if you haven't been to Red Rocks, it's a great music venue worth checking out.

Three hour drive? I would be there as well.

I'm taking the piss because I'm at times a PF myself...!?!

...sort of like - takes one to know one. Nah....
Cypress Hill is chill, maybe a bit played out by HT as a headliner. The band probably loves it, as they should.
Being that this is the 1st (non-mmj) event of it's kind in the US, I figured all the stoner performers would jump at the opportunity to perform...
...scheduling issues perhaps?
Where's Snoop Dog? Can't tell me he would miss this opportunity? Maybe he'll jump on stage with Cypress Hill... no way Snoop would miss this.
It's all good, especially for the peeps of Colorado.
Everyone should experience a Denver Mile High...

Even without music, it is one very cool place. The Beatles played there in 1964. They have a free museum that features giant photos and videos of performances there over the years. You probably can't name a famous band that hasn't played Red Rocks. It also has great hiking trails all over the area and a great view of the city in the valley below. It is open daily and worth the trip if you've never seen it. You can whisper on the stage and hear it in the last seat the acoustics are so accurate. And that's just Red Rocks. Let me take you for a drive on the "Oh my god" road just outside of Denver. High and high really do go together.

I would think attendance is mandatory for anyone living within a three hour drive

Whats happening in the rest of Colorado and Washington while all this high profile stuff goes on in Denver and Seattle, are people sussing it out to have a coffeeshop down the street providing the town will have it?
It's great to watch this happen, one day trippers like me and my strife will be able to holiday there and stop for the evening and partake of a legal toke or two at leisure. That is a nice prospect

You can buy Slightly Stoopid tickets for 6:00 on Red Rock's website. The tickets just say Slightly Stoopid, but the cheapest tickets are $71 so I'm guessing the tickets are for all three acts. Tickets are looking to expensive for me, but if anyone's just looking to partake in the historic smokefest at Red Rocks you can buy tickets there.

I do have a tendency to self deprecate...
...ok then, an ILPF it is.

Taking the piss, with myself and several PF's at a time...

I might just go sit up on the hillside and watch the puffy cloud rise from the crowd.

Sweet!!! I already have tickets... paid $56 on ticketmaster for the whole show, got them inthe mail 3 days later.
I am super psyched to attending and creating that puffy cloud rising above lol

Thanks for the heads up. I decided the $56 was a much nicer price than the tickets on Red Rock's site and bought a ticket. So I'll be joining you in the GA section for the smokefest. I think that's the probably the best place to be since you can see the city lights from that high and see the cloud rise from the crowd. Something tells me that city view is gonna be a little more clouded than usual though.
