First smoke would have been solids, marroc (pre soap bar when it was 550 a bar) and plenty of red n gold seal back then aswell it was a fine time 15 an Henry, lucky to get a gram for that nowdays, crazy

first weed I ever smoked was called grannykiller haven't come across anything similar since... kinda like a cheese x citrus hazy taste and very very smelly about 2001. smoked hash about a year later and pulled whitey for the first time! good times!

My first was in 1973, five of us took snowmobiles out to the back barn in dead of winter. somebody had a pipe made of nuts and bolts and we smoked something you wouldn't use as mix today. Crap. On the other hand, it cost about 10 euros for 22 g. (this was called a "lid", no idea why). And when Columbian came along we thought we'd arrived in heaven. Looking back now, it seems very long ago......

Well as most of us, I started with soap bar (97) but when my mates dad found out(we shat ourselves) he told us that we shouldn't be smoking that crap and gave us some maroccan(this is where my love affair with hashish started) this was top grade maroccan. Soft, pliable, bubbles when a lighters near but not touching. Half a joint of this, back in the day would knock me on my arse...
First dam smokes were in 98. We were staying in the flying pig near vondel park... Super silver haze(bulldog liedsplien, nearest coffeeshop and we were young and nieve), king hassans cream (greenhouse namaste).
The ssh don't remember much about, but the hash was the bollocks man, smooth creamy with a heavy stone...
I got some misty aswell on that trip, really liked that, probably cause it had a good stones effect...

Smokedmy. First joint 20 years ago this April 20th....was the greatest thing ever, even though it was garbage smoke....still searching for that high again. First Dam smoke was super lemon haze from coffeeshop Ben, and again i am searching for that same first high.

No luck on either side, buti will warrior on and continue searching.

1976 - some hash "somewhere in South Wales" -probably imported by Mr Howard Marks - not memorable and dissapointing really - might have been the foul Old Holborn mixed with it.

Amsterdam -1983 or so - a crafty hash cake from "Fancy Free" whilst mates were on a canal trip and then scored some "Columbian Gold" - which completely and utterly wrecked me. Wonderful. Not helped by staying in a hotel with a load of off duty coppers on a conference which made the "trying to be straight" behaviour funny. They clocked us OK.

Best recently has been a combo of Nepalese Temple Balls from Stix and blueberry cheese.

1988..I was 13 when i had my first ever smoke..it was northern lights, was in my best mates bedroom listening to pink floyd-echoes

1999.. First Dam smoke was northern lights/umma gumma cocktail, sitting in pink floyd coffeeshop, listening to pink floyd-pulse with that same best mate

My first ever smoke was a Moroccan hash, probably soapbar, nothing to get excited about!
My first smoke in Amsterdam was a nepal hash from bushdoctor. It must be almost six years
ago now. At first I thought the hash was useless but as soon as I stood up i felt the effects
come on very strongly. I don't smoke hash that often anymore, recently I'm smoking blueberry
because it has a beautiful taste along with a nice high.

I'm surprised nobody knows what a lid means especially the Americans on here. A lid is a rough weight of an ounce as an ounce of old school compressed weed roughly fitted in the lid of a two ounce tobacco tin.

Can't remember what it was but I remember the first time I got high, had the giggles for hours, it was incredible, and I'm glad I can still remember that night; it was a monday

I always thought a lid was an ounce. I guess it depends on where you grew up.

I was 14, the location was a poorly lit garage, 8 of us packed in like immigrants at a safe house waiting to cross the border at just the right time.
Passed around a couple pop cans made into pipes and smoked some typical brick low grade, $100 an ounce type of stuff. Worst part is my brother snitched on us and we had to apologize to our classmates at school and tell them what a bad idea it is to smoke weed

I have been smoking ever since... Lesson learned I guess. I love you Mary Jane
