He asked me for money on our 1 st encounter but I had been watching him from a bar tricking tourists into tours then extorting them , when I told him this he laffed and said I was sharper than I look ( biggest insult ever from a mugging drug addict)
Well this guy normally no matter the weather has his body on show and I shit you not he has 1 hell of a ripped body lmao I mean really ripped 6 pack and everything!
I was talking to him once ( got captured) and for no reason what so ever he went berserk and attacked another tourist when the tourist ran off screaming he just said out loud "chicken shit I was gunna rob him" I just stood there baked off my head thinking what the hell am I doing talking to this dude! He landed a few punches and a whack with his umbrella which he seemed satisfied with!
Every sent he has he will do either coke or amphetamines tells me this often hinting on a score from me I think.
Anyone had any experiences with him? Another tramp who I gave a euro to in feb 2012 told me he has been jailed for a spree of assualts and has been banned from rld?

I know this dodgy cunt aii!!! Think I've seen him on my last 4 or 5 trips (8 in total) and he was always pretty safe with me, didn't realise he was such a dodgy fucker fair play! I think the first time I saw him was August 2009 and he gave me the low-down on the RLD (which I already kinda knew) and asked for a "donation" and I just bunged him a half handful of change from my back pocket which musta been 3 or 4 euro. He's always recognised me after that and has been pretty safe fair play - I usually give him a fag or 2 whilst chatting and to be honest, he could have mugged fuck out of me in some of my meetings with him as I only started drinking in the Dam my last 3 trips and the final night has always ended in a Jim Lahey type stupor (including my mucker keeling over into the canal outside the Bulldog Hotel). I dont think I saw him in my June 2012 birthday trip but on the final afternoon of my recent December trip I heard out of no where whilst cutting through the RLD to Green Place from Susies Saloon for hair of the dog "hey welsh guy" in a yanky accent. Being pretty fucked up at this moment I carried on walking as I was on my tod and didnt think it was intended for me, then I hear "hey you ignorant fuck" which caused me to turn round and he greeted me like an old friend. We had a usual chat and I gave him the rest of my disgusting pack of Red Marlboro's which I bought pissed up, he looks older everytime I see him but I'm not suprised now from finding out some of his story. He probably just swindles the day-people in the RLD now, fair play what a character

I too have seen him on several trips, my first encounter with this fell was several years ago. Iwas with two friends walking through the RLD one night, we were on a usual tour of centrum, greased by several pints of Heineken and in a good mood. He approached us and give us his usual pitch, it didn't register with us, as we've been to Amsterdam many times and know the script and he could see that.
Plus, we're three scousers in our mid twenties with at the time crew cuts and good clothes on, he knew we weren't his usual 'victim tourists'.
He followed us and tried giving us his 'tour' ( mostly made up of lies by the way ) and then asked for money, to which my friend laughed very loudly and told him to 'fuck off!'. He respected this and said he was walking up this way anyway, and told us he had not long got out of American army jail for the unlwaful murder of an Iraqi - I doubt that is true and we spoke to him about the drug trade and he told us a certain group of Dominicans were controlling the crack and heroin etc and pointed over to the bottom end of OZA where they stand , could be true?
I think I actually give him a euro at the end before we went into the next pub, just because of pity and he didn't in any way come aggressive with us.
I've seen him many times now giving his bullshit tour to tourists, the problem is it's their fault for falling for it. Anybody who stops you on the street and looks unsavoury in Amsterdam just pick up the pace and blank them and show no signs of weakness ( i admit this can be harder for others ) they will soon see you're no cash cow and fuck off to the next victim.
Their methods in my eyes are this :
1) Engagement - get potential victim / tourist talking, about anything, get them stopped and talking, they can then begin their 'pitch'.
2) Physical proximity - stand right upon you, make you feel it's easier to pay than move because it might lead to confrontation. To avoid this never stop moving.
3) Intimidate / threaten - This is their last resort to get money because they know you don't believe their bullshit and want to get away from them.
The best bet if you do find yourself stalled, is to walk into the nearest establishment - pub or something and buy a drink, you then have the support of staff.
I am fluent in this because when I first went to Amsterdam at 16 ( i was still a schoolboy ) in 2003, the streets seemed fucking crazy and every other person seemed a drug addict or drug dealer, it was a scary place.
