Getting my itinerary together..

Post by amstajunkie »

Dont want to make the mistake I always do and make a huge list of things to do that I will not stick to or always feel like I am in a rush to follow my plan instead of relaxing. I have decided to just pick one thing a day, maybe two on some days that I want to do and then just see where everything else goes. I wouldnt actually be opposed to just sitting around in a coffeeshop all day; stoned out of my mind watching movies out of my lap top honestly.

So looking for input on some cool things to do, traveling with a first timer so he is going to want to hit up some things I have already done . This is some of things I have been thinking about. Relatively in order of 'really want to' to meh..

Boom chicago boat tour. Dont know if they will be running it in mid march, but this is a definite if they are.

Any type of comedy entertainment type thing that lets me smoke weed while I am there.

Anne frank house: Never been but really want to

Torture museum. been through it, and it was cool, but my friend hasnt and he wants to see it

Dance rave type place with lots of hotties in skin tight outfits. Any suggestions?

That bar made totally out of ice.

Vangogh and rijksmuseum. Done it , didnt think it was all that awesome, but my friend wants to go.

Some kind of awesome private sex house. Never really even looked at the window girls, but im kind of curious this trip. Really shy about this sort of thing and know nothing about it.

Haarlem: I can go or not. Everyone on here says its cool, but I dont know if I care to go.

Ok so thats my list of stuff I have been thinking about. Any suggestions would be really appreciated.

Well I've taken a boat trip or 2 in Amsterdam and I really do not see what all the fuss is about. Unless it is Summer and I'm driving it with a spliff in my gob I wouldn't again. Much better IMO to view via bike. You can stop where you want and take pics, get drink, smoke etc.

So my suggestion would be to hire a bike for the day and go exploring. (weather permitting).

ps - bars made out of ice are soooo oughties :P
How much did you produce?

Skip the ICE Bar, biggest rip off. The Van Gogh Museum is closed until May 1st. There is a smaller collection on display at the Hermitage. And you can't smoke in a theater if you were looking for some type of improv show.
Are you stoned? Like a gravel road bitch, like a gravel road!

We are staying at the bulldog hotel so rld is all around and cannabis nearby. Figured that would be an easy place to go. The boom chicago boat tour does a little comedy show and lets you smoke bud , according to their website. It really sucks there isn't an indoor comedy show where you can smoke weed. I guess it will be some old Richard Pryor shows on the laptop. I'm planning on spending quite a few hours smoking bud in the bulldog hotel lounge watching movies. That's one of my favorite activities in life. Especially since I only get.to smoke a few times a year anymore. Thanks for the tip on the ice bar and thank Jesus on the van gogh museum Not that i am an art hater or anything but the crowds of people and the monitors on those chairs kind of creeped me out. Plus it was boring. How is the Anne frank house?

Go to the Ann Frank house late in the evening to avoid the line.
The sex museum on the Damrack is a hoot, mostly couples and tourists. not covered by card
Church in the attic in the RLD is IMO a great museum, showing Dutch tolerance.
The museum card http://www.amsterdam.info/museums/museumkaart/
3-4 museums and it is a bargain

I wouldn't go to the ice bar as it seems a massive rip off.

Not many of the touristy things attract me. I just want to sit in the Bulldog hotel lobby and get stoned and drink beers and people watch mostly.

I've been to the sex museums they were good.

Sex clubs, I suggest trying another forum there's weirdly not much talk of the RLD on here.
