Enjoy your trip mate and i would recommend the G13/amnesia in 1e hulp if they still got it in stock :)

This is where a bike comes into its own, Amsterdam is defiantly a cycle friendly place

In general, i would agree with you, but sometimes one only has so much energy, and sometimes one must conserve that for standing in museums, etc. The first time I went to the Hermitage, for instance, I walked a fairly good distance to get there (from my Hotel near the Van Gogh Museum), that I couldn't stand for very long and enjoy the exhibitions there, so I ended up going back the next day (via tram).

Bikes are a good option, provided that you don't wreck, hahaha. Happened to me too many times as a kid, lol.
Next trip: November 2013

Yep, no too close. Then again, I actually did this walk last October. It was about a half hour or so.

Just to be clear to the original poster, 1hulp is not near Albert Cuyp!

Heard a lot of nice things about this shop. We got two bikes included in the apartment rental, so a nice ride over there is in order in April....along with Paradox.

You wont be disapointed AZlaker 1e is an awesome place. Every spot in the shop is a good one. Never been disapointed with the wares and the staff is all very friendly, including Rizla.

..try the BHO or the Wax they have, surely you can buy less than a gram they are a bit pricey, but worth it.

Staying in H1, Eerste Hulp is only a few minutes away. Since H1 is only two minutes (if that) from Leidseplein, that makes Eerste Hulp only about a five minute walk from Leidseplein trams 1, 2, or 5.

Tram 7 or 10 will get you there as well. Tram 7 will get you as close as Elandsgracht, and tram 10 passes in front of the shop.

To get to A Cuyp markt, take tram 10 to Weteringcircuit, then a short walk down F. Bolstraat to the markt, with Club Media on the way.

Hi Slim. I moved this reply over to your travel plans thread, from the travelogue we were on before. :)

Morning of Feb 26 @ Voyagers; I'll probably be there when they open at 10 am, it's Testing Tuesday! Are you there that early? And are you moving on to 1eHulp afterward? I've not been there in a couple of years, but I'd go along. My research says they recently had good Golden Amnesia Haze, and Zero-Zero hash for a fair price (7.50 euros). Plus several other shops nearby! You can still get back for your meet with Gapie, or switch venues to something closer like Utopia (a good shop!).

Cheers, Euro

It's not far from the dam square, to walk is done in 10min.
by tram it's 5min, but you have to wait 5min for the tram, that's 10min total.
by bike it's 5min, to unlock and lock the bike is additional 5min. 10min total by bike.

That's 10min from Dam square no matter how you go there.
