Regarding the school closure issue, I wonder if a survey has been done for Dutch citizens on this. I'd imagine so. I'm thinking that while most Dutch have no problem tolerating cannabis, as evidenced by the decline of the Wietpas, they might be inclined to support the 250m rule. Just a thought. Locally, the town where I work has been working on a 1000' school rule that includes ALL schools, even the small college in town.
Just typed "universiteit amsterdam" into Google maps... Quite a few little red dots appeared all over the city... Whilst i'm sure not all of these are regarded as "schools", there's still enough of them to make me think that the future 350m rule will totally wipe out all city centre CS's...

I was just wondering about Portugal that has essentially legalised possesion of certain quantities of any drugs. Are people still having to score off the criminals, or is there some kind of tolerated domestic market for "locals" kind of thing.
Toleration lets politicians off the hook they can sit on the fence, but full legalisation they have to take a leap that it seems not many career politicians are quite ready to do yet. In England we seem to have advanced to the point where a small amount of class A will get you put on a rehab course and personal weed you'll likely get a pass. Not even a half way point yet. Only a coffeeshop at the end of the street would make any noticable change for me over the last 40 odd years.
