DC, couldn't agree with you more. Out of interest, how has the 'drought' affected Nes, you guys were very consistent the last couple of trips and had some great stuff in last time I visited (Mid October).

Also, what shift patterns are you working these days? Was looked after really well the last couple of trips but names of staff escape me at the moment, an Irish a girl, a girl from York and a tall dude (Simon?). Its all a bit hazy thanks to some fat joints washed dwon with Gulpener! Can't wait to get back... 15 days and counting...

There has been some questioning on Channels as to the integrity of the poster. Supposedly, he's tied in with Willie Wortel's somehow. I will be there in two months and guarantee I will have as best an answer I can come up with on everything. Bud quality, merchandising restrictions, alcohol restrictions, windows in de wallen being shut down...everything. I'll report who has what, and if it's good. I'll also try to come up with some sort of forecast for the future outlook. I plan on spending more time talking with budtenders this time around.

Hello, I started that thread and it has nothing to do with where I work. I am simply stating my opinion based on many conversations and personal experience in Amsterdam and vicinity over the past couple of months. There is good weit to be had at high prices, but it is not like it was a couple of years ago.

mile high is a good bloke, he also has his hand on the pulse due to his job. In much the same way DC has i would expect

been reading his posts since way before he went to work for WW so i doubt there is any need to question his integrity as he has been a good source of info for me for a long time now

I'm not personally questioning anyone, just reporting what I read. It just seemed unusual, given I'm on another board quite often with coffeeshop regulars(some living in Adam) and nothing of this sort has been reported.

I was just trying to ease some nerves, really. There's been a lot of talk on all the messageboards lately with regards to the whole tolerance system dissolving. At times, the talk has gotten a little carried away.

I'm quite sure that the Dutch police aren't privy to quite a few grow ops. Even if they keep the heat on, the growers will surely find a way to circumvent things. Old growers will be replaced by new ones and life will go on.

DC said something about the coffeeshops not being here in two years. If the Dutch government doesn't start regulating commercial growing, this could happen as a result of the conflict of interest that happens as a result of commercial growing being illegal. Yeah, it's great that Amsterdam has coffeeshops and everything, but look at what these poor shop owners have to deal with to keep afloat. It almost doesn't seem worth it to me, from a business sense.

Meanwhile, drunk and belligerent morons will be free to spill in and out of fine establishments like Bar de Stoof and the Red-Light Bar unscathed.
