original Dampkring vs Dampkring 2

Post by amsterfornia »

Hey guys, I recently read somewhere on this forum that the dampkring coffeshop chain has seperated and that they now have different menus!
I love hash, espacially some good Rifman hashish. Now, my question is, will the Rifman hashes be the same in both dampkring 1 and 2? I know they have seperate owners but one would think that for example the Rifman Noor hash would be the same if both the coffeshops had it on their menu?

If it's not the same quality I'd probably have to go for a walk to the original Dampkring (dampkring 2 is right next to my hotel  but for better quality hash/weed I'm willing to take that walk)

Thanks 8)

Wouldn't Tweed Kamer(sic?) still stock the Riffman?

Indeed they do and is where I would go. I for one can't stand the amount of barely legal punters that fill the original location.

I never hang out in the Dampkring shops, but I do buy pretty often at the original one. Simply because their Sativas are somewhat unique compared to the other places in the center. Riffman is sold at all the shops of the chain. They dont offer the same ones at D1 and D2- as far as I remember. Quality at the original one was still as it used to be 10 years ago. I haven't bought anything at the Tweede Kamer for about four years.

The budtenders at 2ed Kamer rip off client's and try saying something guy will say: look at sign Nice people leave TIP!! gave a tip : too go fuck himself ripping me off of 2 euros!! since he gave chance before wiething ask for to 10euro back and left!!

Both Dampkring shops are fun just a pain at the Original if place is full of people, the line seems longer when waiting ,maybe caused by the place having not much light,i always end up sitting that the counter ..Damp II is nice on the 2ed floor ..and Budtenders and waiters are more pushy on you buying and leaving fast but if keep buying you can sit and chill for hours..seem people taking too long on a coffee being told they had to leave ...

Original Dampkring = Rifman Sensible ( or something like this... a darker hash most of the time very oily 15€/g superb quality)

Dampkring2 + Tweede Kammer =

Rifman Noor ( 14€/g a blonde one not pressed.. really nice quality)

Rifman Malika (14€/g a darker hash... pressed pretty oily nice quality, too)

So Dampkring1 and 2 have Rifman hashes on the menu but different ones... quality is nice...

my favorites are the Sensible from Dampkring1 and the Noor from 2.

But some things are pretty similar for example... the Rifman Sherasade Sunrise (8,50€/g Dampkring2 nice nice quality for that price) and the Rifman XXXXXXX ( Dampkring1 don´t know the name anymore but also 8,50€/g).

So if u like good imported hash like maroccan, paki and so on check out all dampkring shops ;)

A big vote for the Handboogstraat Dampkring (no idea if it's 1 or 2) from this middle aged git. They serve me ahead of the youngsters queuing every time. Respect your elders  .

Same here 8) . I never cut in line but I've never had bad service in any Dam coffeeshop. They must take a look at my grey hair and figure that I've already had to deal with a lot of crap over four and a half decades. A little respect is nice. :D

Original Dampkring all day. In addition to the great Malika and Noor, I've had an excellent Rifman Hash called "Aziza" at the original shop. I had to order it - it has the same name as my late grandmother.

I think going upstairs and out of the eyeline of the staff at D2 is a good idea if you want to chill. Downstairs the service is very good in fact it could be described as brisk. The place has a smart clean look about it. Still prefer the original though. Might even buy something there one day.

I had the space cake from dampring 2, and it created very colorful visuals. Seemed abnormal experience for an edible. I almost suspect/wonder if the incorporate truffles into it somehow? It was fun, delecious moist cake, but I'm amazed how that 0.4g cake gave me the level of visuals when all other edibles I've had don't...?

Thanks for the heads up! I will definitely not patronize this place. I can't stand pushy ass staff trying to get me to part with my euros like that. But if you keep buying you can sit and chill for hours  Yeah I'd say you should be able to. I mean I understand you gotta turn the tables over but damn this ain't a bar you just don't keep buying shit every 15 mins, sheesh
