Hello ACDers, Im a frequenter of the site but dont often speak up, just felt i had to express my excitement at my impending short visit to Amsterdam on the 30th of march and perhaps pick up a few tips before my embarkation.

After trolling the countless opinions of the faithful i have a perliminary list of coffee shops to visit as follows:

Voyagers, Paradox, Club Media and either Stix or Solo (for Nepalese Temple Balls) which im hoping is the Genuine Article. i Know this is not the board to ask questions about coffeeshops and the strains they carry so I'll do that in the appropriate area later.

I hope to also visit Broodje bert and the Taj Mahal on the Heinikenplein for some Greatly rated Grub!

And Biercafe 't Arendsnest on Herengracht for some Beer sampling!!

I am visiting for Weed Food and Beer in that order and any suggestions for either are welcome.

I love this site and all who sail in her!

Love mafia

Cant fault much with that. Voyagers then 13/17 tram up to Paradox. On the way back walk past the tram stop you got off at Westermarkt carry on over Herengracht and turn right and walk down the side of it. Pass Magic coffeeshop and take the next left. Cross the Singel and Broojie Berts is in front of you. The street down the side is Raamsteeg and the newly re-opened Cafe Gollem is on it. Top place for beers.

Sounds like a good start, if your out in the Club Media/Paradox area 1e Hulp and Funky Munkey are not to far and worth checking out, 1e had awesome temple balls in May 2011/2012..

Also Soundgarden is a nice place to drink and smoke across from Funky Munkey.

Burn em down man.

Indeed Media is a bit from Paradox but I just figured if he was heading outside a bit.
We walked a few times from Paradox, to 1e/FM, then to Albert Cuyp and followed with Club Media.

Did not think it was too bad a walk. My bad for the bunk info.

True club media and paradox are a good distance apart but other than perhaps a much needed rescue tram ride once my legs give way to hashish induced numbness, I will be taking in all I can by walking as this is going to be a one day affair!

Cheers guys
