The Pax Vaporizer

Post by Sky »

What's the scoop on the Pax vaporizer?
How does it compare with the other small vaporizers of choice?

I was tempted by it but all I read about in the above thread is the maintenance they need. The mouth piece gets stuck if it's not kept really clean. The problem with that is the mouth piece is also the on/off switch. Also I've read of the pax not working in cold temps. Living in England that would be a problem for me, perhaps not you. The 10 year warranty may sway you though. Other than that it seems like quite a nifty little gadget and I may be more tempted if they distributed and covered warranties in the UK but sadly they don't.

Have you heard about the ascent by da vinci? This looks really promising IMO even though it's not out yet. Check it out if you haven't! It's due out in March in the USA.

Personally I'm going to go for the tried and tested arizer solo then I'm gonna see what the ascent reviews are saying later in the year. I'm still considering the pax but only for super stealth vaping and not everyday use. That is if they start selling to Europe.

Really want to get into vaping, but not prepared to splash out until I know I like it. Also want a stealthy portable to begin with. Seems to me like the flight box is still the simplest & best all rounder - especially now you can get knock offs for £26. About time too!

Sounds good. I will probably invest once I've had a go. Will check out the volcano s at Barney's too (what's a verdampner?). Sorry to repeat myself (other thread) but do they work with hash?

Bad de Grasse - no hash in volcano's or verdampker (a type of vaporizer)

sensismiler didnt read anything on ascent by da vinci.... looks cool tho.... MFB is different.. small wooden thing.

the pax? ya... not thrilled with that mouthpiece.

the atoms is cool, FINALLY figured out the trick to big hits... the hash oil cartridges have a wick... that thing needs a bunch of oil on it to vape well.... thats the trick.

If you don't try the Pax you have to rely on reviews. The Pax is a really sleek vape and has cool features like motion activated turn-off but the real important factor is quality of vapor, so make sure to focus on that if you're looking for a vape. http://www.vapeworld.com have portable vaporizers for all prices so if the Pax is too much there really are good alternatives. GL!
