Re: BHO/Wax Advice - 1e Hulp
Im just curious as to why americans even bother coming to amsterdam anymore , fairplay lots of you bitch cos you got it good and cheap in the us , we dont have the laws you have so why slag someone down for making a € out of our pockets for something they really shouldnt be selling in amsterdam ... Very small minded slagging off coffeeshop owners for trying to share the love best they can even if it is a little expensive

You don't get it do you?...it's the rip off factor ...and if that's what you call sharing love(poorly produced, lung irritant,VERYimpure, and WAY over priced),ya can keep yer love
...we go to have fun,not get lung infections...and it's called a vacation,,,and you are right ..until they get it right they shouldn't be selling it ANYWHERE...small minds eh? Tell that to the purchasers of this junk, when they are coughing a literal lung up...watch it spark..yay pretty..lol...in over 6 years of sampling some of the so call best of the best in Amsterdam. ,evn terminator turned out to be dirty,i found better in belguim to be honest,I didn't know what I know now but now I know and that little itch in the back of yer throat means its gonna be a hack fest...there is hope, soon I hope,....we do it again in November...there's always a chance?

Re: BHO/Wax Advice - 1e Hulp
I was in 'First Aid' last Saturday, introducing my friends from London to the Volcano and a lovely bud of S5.
Quite a nice atmosphere in here with a local mixed young clubby-vibe around the dab-bong device, including the staff taking hits of bho. Got chatting to the guy with the blow torch who was telling me, despite the initial shock of the price, he figured it was reasonable. He said a dab would keep him baked for two hours and a gram was good for 85 dads (thus a euro per dab!)
The S5 was really nice, very in your head and clear, only 12 euro per gram

The S5 is definitely what I'd be smoking if I was there- I saw some pictures of it- looks like a lovely batch. They usually have some really nice Moroccan hashes as well for the 7-9 euro range.
No way there are 85 dabs to a gram- I'd estimate more like 20-25, but maybe 40 if you're not a huge pothead like me...
USBL- any sense for how many dabs/gram?
I only smoke solvent-less wax these days unless I know the person making the bho really knows what they're doing because I have no desire to inhale petrochemicals.

Because life is too short to smoke bad bud.

How many licks does it take to get to the center of a tootsie roll tootsie pop?
I'm smoking some White Fire OG/Hindu Skunk wax on some L.A. Cheese. But it's too late to keep count. Maybe next gram.
Edited to add that I'm jealous about the MK Ultra- that's one of my favorite favorites.

I was in touch with medicinal route for this oil and was quoted 30E a gram.. Unfortunately, 1gr, will cover probably one application for the spots I am concerned with.. even at 30E a gram not in my budget =(..
I can't grow either (RENTER)..
If anyone has any other connections for a cheaper application of the oil, I would be
interested..

Solvent free pure water extraction ice wax ftw!
The stuff that HB had in Voyagers in April was top notch, tasted delicious and was dabbable. Think it was by some guy called H3rby.

Hey tuttiflutes... for what you need, i think a salve might be more appropriate.tuttiflutes wrote:I was in touch with medicinal route for this oil and was quoted 30E a gram.. Happy topical application...

I taught many of the "pros" in cali. So, 20% is not unreasonable, with material covered in trichs, but up to 30% is possible if you are a pro? lol. I get it now. I am going back to school as I have been missing the boat for over 30 years.Uncle Ron wrote:milehigh wrote:I invite you to look at yields people have been getting in recent years, especially the "pros" in Cali. Some are reaching yields of 20-25%, extreme cases almost 30%. Two words - thrichome density. If the plant material is literally covered in trichs, 20% is not unreasonable.

...I stand by my opinion that 20-25% extracted yield by weight is not unreasonable given the trichome density that some strains produce.
The greatest yield I've been able to achieve is 18% using rudimentary equipment such as plastic tubing, coffee filters, unstable heat source (+- 10F.), butane in a can, and the list goes on. One important note - I don't collect trash trim. If no sign of trichomes, the plant material is trashed. Lazy I'm not, ever. Also to note, I only have slightly more than 2.5 years of experience (nothing compared to your 30+) although with limited amounts of plant material, meaning limited number of times. I starting to get the hang of how it's done properly (thanks Bong), so anything is possible, within reasonable expectations.
If you taught "the pros", then you should know this as being a reasonable expectation, correct? Hmm, right, moving on...
As for missing the boat for over 30 years, this happens when following the wrong timetable. Maybe time to get a new schedule, perhaps? (yes, sarcasm)...
Maybe now you will get it, at least my point, maybe a little? (hint of sarcasm)...
Hurry up now, school is about to begin...
Happy dabbing...
