I gather the ballots will be open as, in fact, they have been in previous years. Here's part of a 2011 one I found:

(note that the "1" has been written in so I guess Hestia was planning on using the same design in subsequent years)
As you can see, it's rather complicated so DC has his work cut out trying to work out who won!

Anyway, the point is, if the ballots are open, then it's less important where the pre-Cup crawls, or Toke & Votes as we've called them in previous years, actually go.
This is good because we seem to have a very full schedule this year.

We currently have two crawls planned.

On Thursday 18th AzLaker is leading one around the Jordaan side from 420/de Kuil - Utopia - Grey Area - Paradox - 1e Hulp.

On Friday 19th I've been suggesting a wander around the Albert Cuyp Market area to include De Graal, Club Media and Katsu.

On Thursday we have a full day to complete AzLaker's crawl. If he's agreeable, I wonder whether we could squeeze in a couple of other visits.

Firstly, while we're in the beautiful environs of Paradox, if there aren't too many of us, we could try to pile into the nearby fluorescent art exhibition.
I think J and I went in there once years ago although, in my addled memory, it was around Nieuwe Hoog Straat then.
Anyway, I'm sure it would be fun when very stoned.

Secondly, if there's time at the end, we could try popping into Funky Munkey. It's not far from 1e Hulp and I've never been inside it.

The Friday crawl is more limited for time. If we manage to get to the market by 4, after the Dice Man adventure, then we can have a quick look around before it closes at 5.
I love the Albert Cuyp Market. I rarely buy anything but it's great to look around. After that I'd particularly like to visit Graal because I've never been in there.
Media and Katsu are always worth a visit if we have time.

What do you think?
Sounds good Lemming, love that idea. Never been to the fluorescent art exhibition or the Funky Munkey.
The Albert Cuyp Market is always great and the Stroopwafels are out of this world. Let's add it to the list.

What does being in a post 4/20 mode mean? Apocalyptic man, devastatingly apocalyptic...
It means the 4/20 events are over, at least for me...
I liken it to Crimbo - the 12 days of Crimbo culminating on the 24th (Crimbo Eve), and the 25th (Crimbo).
The 26th is nothing special, the day after (also prime time for a few Hohotards to return/exchange gifts)... get it? :)
Simply put, the 4/20 party is over (for me), time (for me) to move on to the next event - Coronation and Queens Day. Next year it will be Kings Day on the 28th. :)
Reason enough for me to plan my arrival with sufficient time to enjoy the festivities without having to extend them beyond the 20th.
Too easy, even easier for me :)

Stroopwafels! We definitely have to get to the market before it closes then.

The fluorescent art exhibition has a website here: http://www.electric-lady-land.com/. Somebody mentioned it the other day and reminded me about it. It's very close to Paradox, or at least it is now. As I said, I thought it was somewhere else once but I may have got that wrong.
