Plans for my second visit (April 6th-9th)

Background info: I went to Amsterdam for the first time in August of last year, had a fantastic time as everyone does and will be going back in three weeks.
Now this isn't purely weed smoking trip (though I will be stoned the whole time  ) so I'm looking for some suggestions of things to do. I'm going with my brother, the same as I did last time.

I've written down some plans for the trip, how well we'll stick to these are anybody's guess but I think it will help me make the most of my trip.

:Copy paste from my notes:
Day 1: Arrive, drop bags at Rho hotel and check out the room. Grab a slice from New York Pizza if hungry. Go to Utopia, sit and have the first smoke in Amsterdam. Head over to Lost in Amsterdam to chill/drink/smoke. Eat dinner, then wonder about for the evening finishing up at t' Nes.

Day 2: Wake & bake, hotel breakfast (7:00 to 10:30) A bit of smoking, shopping and whatever, check out Voyages coffee shop. Go to Brouwerij 't Ij for the 15:30 brewery tour (early to buy tickets) Decide on what to do for the evening, finish the night in Susie's Saloon.

Day 3: Breakfast, head to De Pijp, look around, go to Club Media coffeeshop, check out Albert Cuyp market, buy some food to picknic, head to Vondelpark to chill, eat and smoke. If we can't be bothered to walk 20 minutes go to Sarphatipark. Head back to Amsterdam Central for dinner, finish the night at Tetra, the sports bar from the first trip.

Day 4: Breakfast, checkout from the hotel by 11:00, see what there is time to do before getting a train back to Schiphol.

Other ideas:
Go to Albert Heijn near the beginning of the trip to get some drinks & snacks for the hotel
Visit Artis Royal Zoo again.
Eat a fondue.
Try Amsterdam Herring.
Potentially do another brewery tour at De Prael in the RLD (closed on Monday, opens at 2 Sunday, 1 other days)
Fuoco Vivo are supposed to do the best Pizza in A'dam, got to be worth the walk
Wok to walk for Asian fast food
Well now you all know what I'm planning on doing and roughly when so I hope there's not too many weirdos out there!

Anyway, if you read all that, thank you very much and if you have any suggestions for the trip they would be greatly appreciated.

Peace.
Doom.

Welcome to the forum.

You have been posted on the April Whos In Town page.

You can see who else may be in town during your stay.

If you don't see yourself, click your refresh or reload button
Your browser sometimes loads pages from your local cache and
you don't get the latest update.

Watch for Toke & Talks, I post them up to the last minute.

Set yourself up with your own T&T or Toke and Talk, where you pick the coffeeshop (your favorite)
and the date and time, I will post it and you wait for folks to show up, if they do you'll have a
T&T. If they don't you still get to enjoy your favorite coffeeshop!

By default I link your posting to your profile page here on ACD.

https://www.coffeeshopdirect.com/forum/membe ... e&u=101680

I can change it to a web link ( myspace, facebook, personal page )
or an email address if you want.

You can do a little practice shopping on the Coffeeshop Menus page.
Any with arrows are less than six months old.

Any nice new menu pictures you can get will be much appreciated.

Thanks, I plan on being pretty busy this trip (though busy relaxing a lot of the time  )
But I'll keep my eye on the any T&Ts and do by best to come and introduce myself!

Your plans seem pretty similar to my own (I'm not over until July though :( )

One of the members put me onto the iamsterdam pass, which has a stack of discounts on things to do - some of which look pretty good. Also includes public transport. Don't have the link here but Google would be your friend!

Have fun!
