Just returned from Dam last night, and what a weekend it was. Even though I was travelling with my co-workers, and felt like i couldn't take it to the extend that I really wished for, I think I got a good summary of what Amsterdam feels like. Cause it really has it's own feeling doesn't it. Just get so jolly when i see all the coffeeshops, and know I can get a smoke whenever I want, without too much effort. Anyways, here goes my short picture-summary :)

Friday, Nov. 3rd

My Hotel.... eerhm, Botel rather. I would stay clear of this on your trip, as it was not tokerfriendly, the beds was crap, and the bathroom was way to tiny. Infact, if they catch you with any drugs, you will get tossed out the place immidiatly. Very friendly staff though, and good location.

I was of to a flying start with dinner and couple drinks on my companys account. Then we headed into town and ended up in a place I have no idea what was called. Found out later that is was just opposite of Free Adam, which was where my first Amster-smoke came from.

At the way back I stopped at this place

and bought a prerolled NYC Diesel. Can't really remember what I paid for it though. It sure made me comfortably numb, and was a great way to end the night.

Saturday, Nov. 4th

Was doing a walk down the big shopstreet by Dam Square (think it's called), and after a couple pints at various pubs, we stopped by this place.

The budtender showed me this...

But had allready made up my mind to get a couple of theese...

After dinner, we found this brilliant pub called Cafè Wiener, which we spent almost all night at. My boss got really drunk, so he paid for almost everything I drank that night, which didn't bother me at all... hehe

Just across the street from Cafè Wiener was the Twilight Zone

Image

where i bought a prerolled I was told was made out of Santa Maria. It hit me just right, I saved the rest, and then it was back to the rest of the group to get some more free drinks.

Stopped by Players Cafè before heading on to what was going to be my final destination of the day.

Image

I smoked half a joint of Super Skunk, and that was it for me. That hit made me more or less paralyzed, so I left to find my bed. Think I used about 2 hours to get to my Botel. It really wasn't that far. hehehe.

Sunday, Nov. 5th

Totally relaxed day which basicly was just about sitting down for a beer at most places possible. Stopped by Free Adam, mostly because of the music, and had a quick beer to. Budtender did seem all content with none of us buying anything, but I blazed up what was left from the Santa Maria the day before.

I tore away from the group as the last thing I did, because I simply had to stop by Central CS, and glad I did. Loved the place, budtender was awesome, and the infamous menubox was as lovley as I thought it would be.

Image

I smoked half a prerolled the buddy told me was a mix of the lot, and gave the rest to some guys sitting next to me. Then I was of to see Spurs finally getting rid of this Chelseathing they had for as long as I can remeber.

What a trip, what a town, and man am I going back soon. Hopefully just past new years eve.

And a couple of photos I liked.

Nice pics, I've stopped at the Botel before (it was a few years back mind) and never had any problem smoking in the room, when we first got there we noticed that they had a No Smoking Weed sign in the room then we got back from a night out and the corridors were full of weed smoke so we just blazed away.

Nice photos and report man. Glad you had a great trip!

Noticed the Durban Poison on the menu at Balou. Haven't seen that around Amsterdam myself and you can't really beat 4.50/gram? Loved a shipment of that stuff back home, so I'll probably be checking that coffeeshop out in a few weeks (if I can find it!!)
