The Vapor Critic's YouTube site now has quite a few useful tips (cleaning pax, mflb) in addition to his reviews, at http://www.youtube.com/user/TheBestVaporizer and http://www.vapecritic.com/
Here's a 15 minute overview of 10 table-top and 10 portable vapes

Re: whats your fav portable vape
I haven't got a portable vape but i'm looking to get one...
I was thinking about getting the Magic Flight Launch Box as it has a Lifetime Functional Warranty. I live in the UK So that means if it was bought in the UK and it developed a fault a year later or when ever I would have to pay to send it to the US and there could be a chance customs could seize it so is it really worth paying roughly £100 when I could buy “Da Kube” Portable Vaporizer which look similar and does the same thing and it's less than half the price. It has has good reviews but It doesn't come with a lifetime warranty.
I was thinking about getting the Dragon Lite but isn't that made of plastic where as Da Kube is wooden just like the MFLB?

Don't settle for second best. Da Kube is a cheap imitation of the MFLB.Snow White wrote:I haven't got a portable vape but i'm looking to get one...

I live in the UK and you still get full warranty. They are reasonable. I've dropped one box into a mud puddle and I pictured it and send the pictures and serial and I got it replaced. My second unit's screen tore, picture and then a replacement. The deal with MFLB is that the technology in it is good but they are cheap to make. Because they know most stoners are more likely to break things they make it a lifetime warranty. People should be able to get a good 5 years + outta their boxes.
I love my MFLB.

Bong, aka USBL, is an entity in his own right. The master of Spoon is just one of his many accomplishments and contributions to the stoner world.
I am but a humble-disabled-unemployed-hydroponic-dirt farmer, standing in line trying to get next to da man above.
As for Colina, pay him no mind, he has yet to learn the virtues of DON'T FEED THE STONERS.

Yeah I read up on their website you have to take 2 pics. 1 of the serial number and the other of the fault.
How much does it cost to send it back?.
The more I read up on the MFLB the more I'm tempted to get it but if you don't buy it directly from them how do you know you're not buying a fake?. I've seen them on ebay, amazon and on headshops at various prices.
I'm sure i've read on here that some headshops are known to sell fake bongs so how would I know if I get sold a fake MFLB?

Heres the deal on the MLFB warranty. I've successfully received a warranty replacement in Amsterdam.
If you live in the USA, you're supposed to wrap the unit up in foil, package it up and post it back to them.
If you live outside the USA, you don't have to post it back to them. The company will email you detailed instructions, which involve taking a marker pen, drawing a line across the back of the unit (keeping the serial number visible), and then taking a clear photo of the back.
Next, you physically break off the clear cover on the top, write the serial number on the exposed wood, and take another photo of this. Send both photos to MLFB and they'll post you a brand new unit. No need to send the destroyed unit back to them, you can throw it away when you're done.
The idea with breaking off the clear cover is to make the old unit totally unusable, stopping people from being dishonest and getting a free MLFB for their friend.
The MLFB knockoffs - they are cheaper, but the materials used are questionable. Personally, I care a great deal about my health... I'm concerned about off-gassing from lead solder etc, so I pay the extra 50 bucks to get something made in the USA by a respected company that guarantees their materials are tested and safe. But to each their own, buy what suits you!
