I have the same results as you with the flashvape Bleak, but they are a good hit. The wispr still has No.1 spot for day to day business though. :D

How is the Flashvape?
From what I've read, they sound great, I almost ordered one the other day, but then I noticed that you'd be testing one at 420, so I'm waiting to hear what you (and possibly others who tried it with you) think.
Did you buy the stage 2 set too?
Yep, I got the S2 kit. The Flashvape with S2 is a killer machine, it gives really good hits. Very durable, amazing build quality for the price, and nice simple design. In use it reminded me of a redesigned Magic Flight on steroids. Its pretty big though, so its not really a stealth vape. The only downsides to the Flashvape are that its easy to overheat and burn your weed, especially when learning to use it. Once practiced, this problem goes away. The other downside is that the battery charge time is around 3 hours. During a session, you can get through a battery in around 45 mins. So it can be a hassle charging and switching batteries all the time, but thats what you get with a high-powered portable vaporizer (the core actually glows red, so you can tell it REALLY uses a lot of juice). This battery problem might be solved soon though - Flashvape are releasing a 'quick' charger that halves the charging time. I also suspect they'll release a power adapter for home use in the near future. Plus, because the batteries are removable, they can be replaced with longer lasting ones as battery technology improves in future years.

Apparantly they're also working on a Flashvape Mini which should be interesting!
Thanks, I'm going to order one now.

Yeah you got it! Don't worry about the restricted draw. After a day or 2 it loosens up and you'll get better airflow. It helps to lift the stem up a mm when taking a draw.

Happy vaping! If you get one of the PVHES stems let me know how you get on. They're quite expensive to buy here or get shipped over so don't want to throw money away.

I can confirm that. It will improve your hits if you lift the stem while drawing. Short Ups and downs.
Its all a matter of practice. I m sure you ll get the hang of it soon.
Wat is er aan de hand?!

Ed's stems work great, but I find the taste with the glass stems is much better. It looks like he also significantly put his prices up from when I ordered mine last year.

Its true, I burned the weed probably 5 or 6 times while getting the hang of the Flashvape. It has a LOT of power!

The restricted air intake of the Solo is the main thing that stopped me buying one for myself, as I like to take big inhales with no drag. But as others have mentioned, the aftermarket stems do help this problem. I've heard rumours that Arizer will release a new portable soon. This makes sense, as the Solo is quite long in the tooth, and is looking a little outdated compared to some of the newer products coming out.

solo is awesome.

more i use it the more i like it.

its dummy proof and just works.

you gotta get the hang of packing it right and ya pulling hits well.... but the upgraded stems are the key....

waiting for these to come back into stock... .this will make the solo go NUTS

The standard solo stems work fine, but the technique for hitting it is different than from a pipe or bong because of the resistance. The best way to hit is with a cigar type full (using the cheeks) puffs and then follow with a inahale of fresh air to pull the vapor into the lungs.

True dat!!!! I had one evening in Amsterdam where I burned the weed like 3 times in a row    Some people have likened this vaporizer to a Porsche 911 - ie. its absolutely incredible if you have the experience and patience to handle it, but if you take it too lightly it'll probably be the death of you  Definitely not recommended for beginner vaporists.

Its funny how your tastebuds change over time. Once you're accustomed to the freshness of vapor, any smoke in the mix is like ewwww, ashtray flavour... And yet, I used to smoke through filthy, ash-encrusted old bongs all the time without even flinching! These days, I won't even go near a bong unless its sparkling clean...
