Bringing own vape to amsterdam?

Ill be traveling to amsterdam for business on 4:20 from the US. I really want to bring my vape (iolite) with me. Is this a good idea if I clean it well before traveling? I dont want to have any problems with airport security etc. I would leave my butane home i guess and try to buy at a headshop. Do most headhsops carry refined butane? Or should I just not bother with it altogether?

Opinions are like assholes, everybody has one, so here's mine...
Think it through, see the pros and cons, I call it risk assessment.
You've got the more important aspects covered - cleanliness and no gas.
Airport security shouldn't be a problem because the Iolite is designated as an electronic cigarette.
Bottom line - if you want to bring it with you, then bring it.
Why would you go to a head shop to buy butane? When I want butane, I either go to the super market or tobacco store.
Lastly, don't believe "ALL" that you read or hear about filtered butane. 1x, 2x, 4x, 8x, 16x, and so on...whatever, it's mostly advert. hype, and a reason to jack the prices.

Depends upon where you are flying from and where you are connecting through. That kind of thing. For example if connecting through anywhere in the middle east I'd advise leaving the vape at home.

Good bit of advice, especially for the uninformed stoner.

Not about the vaporizer, but still some good information regarding drug sentencing in the Middle East and a few other countries.

It's a butane gas powered vaporiser my man might even be a medical device, I think thats what you meant. If I may be so bold as to contribute my ramblings to your stoned thought patterns . The boundaries are getting a bit hazy round the whole fake cig/ vape thing. Some folks want to toke up on their "electronic cigs" back at the workface and down the pub like the old days but the powers aint having it. Re the question, it's you're call, I carry mine clean to and from UK no probs and maybe the US is cool but if you got a detour through the middle or far east thats something else. Hope that helps, If you vape you got to have one with you I know.
