As long as I end up at the hotel at some point I'm not too fussed which way I go.

Its not how big the city is its how fucking confusing it is.

Mate i swear u r better off jus staying in the centre. My first trip oh so long ago nw, i stayed at hem hotel about 20mins out of town all i have to say is That novice mistake was never made again. Plus its far more expensive.

My little advice to u is to stay as long as possible in the centre b4 retiring back to your hotel cos ur gonna take lots of naps and smoke less weed than u planned too.

I rather spend money on weed than transportation. But hey each to their own.

For the price of 1g of middle shelf weed in the Centrum you get a 48hrs travelcard. You will save far more than that by going out of the Centrum and buying top shelf weed and hash at lower prices. If you haven't discovered De Pijp and the great shops there then you are missing out. Club Media, Katsu, De Grall, Papillon. Fine shops and great products at lower than Centrum prices. On the whole you get better quality hotels for the same price as in the Centrum and are only 15 minutes on a tram away. No brainer to me anyway.
