Non Netherlands citizen use of coffee shops
Been to breda for a day trip today. Was turned down in every coffeeshop due to not being able to provide Netherlands i.d. First time this has ever happened. In fact most owners got really queer about us even going inside to try!!!! Do the people of holland think they have exclusivity on being chilled out!! Ridiculous, perhaps we should stop them playing British house music in there clubs as they didn't produce it. Hopefully my by annual trip to Amsterdam won't be the same!!!! The brew is stronger in the uk now, so we only go for the chilled out atmosphere. Holland you are about to lose lots of foreign revenue. Perhaps you don't want to be part of the eu either!!!!

You shouldn't have any problem in the dam.
Re: Non Netherlands citizen use of coffee shops
Each Council has the right to deny foreign tourists which is better than the original plan to ban all tourists from EVERY coffeeshop in hollandSyncronicity wrote:Been to breda for a day trip today. Re: Non Netherlands citizen use of coffee shops
the problem lays with the government parties some are pro pot some are not
if the non pros got in they would of banned all tourists, but the mayor of amsterdam and a few other places said that they would allow tourists to continue to buy so they came up with this plan instead
one of the biggest problems was the southern towns was getting fed up with border jumpers from surrounding countries doing day trips
thank god certain mayors and Noel Van schaik and others campaigned against this so we can still enjoy having a relaxing smoke with like minded people
