Police policy in Amsterdam

Post by bedge »

High all
I just read this interesting doc by Leo Zaal a former amsterdam drug squad officer.

http://www.drugtext.org/Crime-police-tr ... erdam.html

Speaks for itself. but one point of interest was the statement that 30G grams is the amount before any action is taken.
it is widely thought to be 5g!!
i know this was the amount you could carry and or buy from the coffeeshops @ first.
And if like me you are a bit of an anorak (maybe that should be a caftan;-)and interested in the workings and legal side of things
another article by the same guy giving details of police investigation regarding the growing export and criminal involvment of cannabis might be of interest.
see
http://www.drugtext.org/Law-and-treatie ... ation.html

all the best

Umm, only to the uninformed...
The daily purchase limit per shop is 5 grams per day, 30 gram limit for possession.
Old stuff, very old.
