First of all let me thank you guys here for having such a great and informative site, it has made sorting this trip so far easy.

Now details, I'm an older stoner who has always wanted to visit Amsterdam. So finally have managed to convince the ball and chain (Mrs) that i will not go window shopping and be good  . Will be travelling with my younger brother who i only found out recently also enjoys a smoke.

Accommodation - On Keizersgracht @ https://www.airbnb.co.uk/rooms/84024
After searching for a few days i came across this listing and the pictures just had me sold straight away. (will write a report)

Coffee shops on the list - Looking for locations with a chilled layed back vibe without pounding music. (recommendations welcome)
Kashmir lounge - Cushions Cushions :)
Birdy - Recommended by a member here.
1e hulp - Looks a comfy layed back place.
Barney's Lounge - Most local and has great reviews.
Greenhouse - For the Lemon Haze and because of their Strainhunter vids.
Paradox - Recommended by a members here.

As a keen photographer I'm also looking at taking some great shots so hopfully this will turn into a great report at the end for here.

Thanks
Exceluk1

Welcome to the forum.

You have been posted on the September Whos In Town page.

You can see who else may be in town during your stay.

If you don't see yourself, click your refresh or reload button
Your browser sometimes loads pages from your local cache and
you don't get the latest update.

Watch for Toke & Talks, I post them up to the last minute.

Set yourself up with your own T&T or Toke and Talk, where you pick the coffeeshop (your favorite)
and the date and time, I will post it and you wait for folks to show up, if they do you'll have a
T&T. If they don't you still get to enjoy your favorite coffeeshop!

By default I link your posting to your profile page here on ACD.

https://www.coffeeshopdirect.com/forum/membe ... e&u=109722

I can change it to a web link ( myspace, facebook, personal page )
or an email address if you want.

You can do a little practice shopping on the Coffeeshop Menus page.
Any with arrows are less than six months old.

Any nice new menu pictures you can get will be much appreciated.
Always ask first, better told no than thrown out.

Enjoy

Hi XL, another older stoner here too. A couple of the shops you have highlighted undoubtedly have good weed (Barneys, Greenhouse) but you will pay over the top for it. A few other shops I enjoy are: Paradox, laid back locals shop often with cool jazz/classical playing and E5 deals to try lots of strains. La Tertulia: Great mother and daughter run shop on Prinzengracht, nice buds and great food and drinks. Very relaxing. Down in De Pijp is Yo-Yo: Quiet shop which stocks outdoor organic weed. Very much old school and great value. If you want to try Greenhouse then Greenhouse Namaste is the quieter branch but has the same menu as the others. Enjoy.

Agree with Sailor, PARADOX is a great place esp. for "old stoners" I think.
