How come Sean Connery never went into the fishing business with all those millions he got from Hollywood?
I can see it now 'Connery's Cannery'

Has a nice ring to it don't you think?

Chill man, no need to be upset. I was having a laugh, up until you came along and started pissing... chill.
Damn, so many here going all psychosis lately... ya'll need to chill big time.

Public apology if you were truly joking, UR.
And please don't confuse joke explanation with being upset. 8)
Note to self- make jokes that don't need explaining.
As the cliche says, "It's all good."
Have a bang-up weekend.

Telling us all that what is you wrote is "very enjoyable", should have told us a lot about you before we even started reading it!
Glad someone else caught that!

ron does seem like a pompous ass , but i suppose i am ,also. the thing that bothers me about uncle ron is that he seems to be an apologist for the prohibitionists. his comment stating that coffeeshops should just be happy that they can do business in an illegal trade was the last one i saw(in thread regarding judgement for recompensation of coffeeshops for lost business)..ron, they should not be regulating what we ingest anyway. either way im coming in beginning of september and it would be nice to meet the man behind the keyboard. i like to debate and it would be fun to hang out and smoke. weed would be on me. big c , i totally disagree about gapie. stan is the fuckin man(like stan lee). i have found stan to be a great guy and guide. i will happily buy stan bong hits all day. hell, we even went out to eat at frenzi(favorite restaurant in the dam)...where you from big c? i am from the western burbs..not close west like oak park but not timbuktu like naperville

marco, it was kind of an enjoyable read. i have enough self love to not mind too much if someone calls me a douche. we all are at times.i think if one gets worked up to the point of wanting to take it to the next level then they cant be too happy as a person.i love people and life. i dont have the time or energy to waste getting too upset over someone giving me their unvarnished opinion of me..a few on this forum most certainly have.

I am amused.

Had a T&T with 7-8 folks from on here during a trip several years ago, wife and I resolved never to spend time in the 'Dam meeting up again with those we don't know. And we haven't. As in any other interpersonal application, we both prefer to meet people before, you know, deciding whether we want to hang with them. To each his/her own. YMMV.

I didn't come on and flame anyone afterward. But again, to each his/her own.

Traditionally pen pals should never meet.

But screw tradition, I met 4 people on my 2nd to last night of the trip at Basjoes (?) They tried to smoke me out for bringing duct tape to them. Blueberry something or other, IIRC. but my mate, a lightweight smoker, wanted to move on off to find some bar he had heard about from one of his friends. After couple of puffs, we were out the door. I felt for the group having just rolled that joint.

In any event, we trundled off, like it always seemed we were doing, to end up at this bar that had closed for a remodel.
There must have been a door there in the wall when I came in.
