Glad I got the fuck out, again. What an expensive, watered-down, oranje zoo.

Been there, done that, 3x.

As if the 'last queensday' is going to be special. Ha!

And then it's over.


All the coronation flags on the bridges and large buildings were nice to look at, and I really liked that royal-scheme tram that was making the rounds.

What is Queens day?
I saw it advertised a lot when I was over.

I know the queen is stepping down for her son, is it a celebration to mark that?

every year on the 30th of april there's the celebration plus this year the queen is stepping down

Queens night (night before) and Queens day were fucking amazing prob my best Dam trip to date , the place was pumping . I never ventured near the centre , I can imagine that was mayhem we were also lucky enough to be at a locals party , ended the evening in the Pijp

I remember my first time... I was woken up by horns looked outside and saw a ocean of orange... Asked the others in tha what tha fuck is goin down the Dutch gone mad won something or ??? I was looked at like an idiot and was. Ask you didn't know?? You ain't here fo that?? I replied no been here 2 day I just came in from Spain!!! What a party!!! I'd say it equal to Canada day but with more alcohol and less out of control ppl but equal to a 4 th July party in Alaska !!!<<< only difference is in Alaska you better be ready fo a fight with some one
