I was exhausted to say the least. Seven people in a van for a nice 21 hour drive! Yes! I also think I am crazy.Called my hook up here, I was told when to meet. It was over 3 hours away so I think "Hey lets take a short nap and then head off to the meet up spot.". Well I wake up with the alarm blaring and the room phone ringing thinking damn that was a quick two hours.. Nope I had been sleeping for 7 hours and the front desk was calling due to alarm going for several hours!!
Obviously never made meet so left on my own for herbs...
Was worried this may happen so I brought some of my own about 7-8 grams for emergency.

Decided to just try Craigslist since Blueberry had just reported her friend had great success. I will not give contact info or anything just general descriptions of meet ups and How the herbs were. Some I have pics of some I didn't as I had some camera issues while there.First herb I got was from a Craigslist ad that I had seen several times and sounded legit.
I have to go to this persons home and meet him. The person was an older gentleman who showed me his heart catheter and explained that he does not sell weed but that he takes donations to care for his worms and will give you for free a certain amount of herbs depending on how many worms you support. I supported 200 worms and Received for free 3.5 g of Mountain Kush $30 ( Afghani Kush x Skunk #1): This was a very nice Kush with a nice trim and cure. Smelled and tasted very Kushy and strong. Buzz was a nice medium Indica buzz that lasted a very long time and could get heavy if smoking a lot of it. No pic
and Golden Goat 3.5g $30 (Island Sweet Skunk x (Hawaiian x Romulan).
This herb was top shelf all the way fruity, piney, funky killer daytime herb. I Like this herb a lot and smoked 7 g's of it while in CO.

Wife and I got ready and left 2 hours early for the cup, we were hoping this would get us better parking and closer in line. We passed up the paid ($20-40) parking and parked within 2 blocks for free. We get to the line and I cant believe the amount of people already here!
We are pretty close to the front of the line and by the time the opening time comes there is a line down and around the block I'm talking thousands and thousands of people! It is obvious they have over sold this event badly!
While inline an older lady and her son was going down the line taking donations for herbs and edibles so I bought a two joints of trainwreck with kief (5$) and four hash infused Fruity pebbles rice Krispy treats ($5ea.) they were tasty and decently powerful.
We smoked these joints with others in line and each ate a treat and saved the other two till later. BTW there was people passing joints everywhere in line and I did not see one cop at all at the event. Everything seemed peaceful with people passing out freebies to us as we stood in line I got a pipe some papers a t-shirt and tons of wax string.
Even though we are closer to the front there are so many people here It takes us until 2:00 pm to get into the doors, and the line was still all the way down the block!
Inside the event it was wall to wall people I have never seen anything so crowded. There was booths hawking all kinds of stoner gear. Some of my favorite booths were the booth with the live bubble berry plant fully mature and of course the booths giving out dab hits for free.
So my wife and I start hitting the recreation area booths for free hits. The first booth has Blue Dream wax they said was 90% thc, we both take a hit and then I do another
this is my very first dab and also my wife's first and she doesn't even smoke but very rarely, wow berry tasty and very strong. The next booth has Super lemon Haze dabs, they are very lemony and delicious, The buzz is more up than the last dab. The third booth has Ogre and Bubbleberry(?) hits, I tell the wife to lay off for a bit after this booth as she isn't looking so good at this point. The ogre is obviously Kush and has that and a light lemony flavor and strong heavy buzz. The Bubbleberry is fruity and less powerful but nice. I find a booth selling hemp drinks and I ask if they are thc infused the guy says no but he does have some chocolate with 200 mgs of thc in them I buy one for $10. It is decent chocolate and seems strong but I also had by this time 6 dabs and several joints and treats in my system.The wife is really messed up by this time and so I find her a place to sit and something sweet to drink/eat. After 45 mins in food line I bring back a burger and some lemonade for her. While she's eating I check the booths out, there are tons of ideas out there for MJ cultivation and Innovation. I return to the table and collect my girl and we head out to the rec area for more smoking. I tell the wife to wait a bit but she insists on smoking a large Golden goat joint with me at 4:20 at this time a big 2ft plus joint and a giant 6 ft bong is being passed around. Theres lots of yelling and celebrating going on!!
After this the wife and I hang around till 5:30p just smoking and talking to people. We do not see any of the ACD crew anywhere. The wife is also really Fked up by this time she can't handle any more so we leave. I take her back to the hotel and then start calling some folks to meet on craigslist. I meet up with a guy for Flo 3.5gs $30: This herb was pretty and well trimmed and all but was light on the taste and smell even when the buds were squeezed, the buzz however was strong and energizing.
Sour Diesel 3.5g $30:
Stinky fuelly and sour both in taste and smell. Buzz was heavy in the body and the mind, Superb weed and a great example of the strain.
Honey wax 1g $35:
Looks like budder to me but more waxy.. Strong cheese taste and adds a lot of strength to joints.
I finished my 420 smoking up and riding shotgun while the wife cruised us around Denver just sight seeing.

The wife and I decided to just spend the day smoking and chilling in the mountains.
We rolled about a dozen joints, some with wax and headed out to Red Rock Canyon for a day of nature and smoking.
This is the end of the smoking part of my trip report, the other 7 nights I spent with my family and kept my smoking to the mornings and nights after mostly.
So, heres my opinion on the cup and my 4/20 trip. The cup was way over sold and should have been in a much larger building. Honestly felt like the cup was more of an oversized head shop with little to offer other than the few booths giving out dabs. To me it was too money motivated as they just stuffed as many people as they could in and the event seemed very disorganised. Some people at the back of the line probably didnt get in to the event till it was about ready to close!
I will probably never do a cup again. It just isnt my scene.. Colorado itself though I absolutely loved and do not regret going. The mountains were beatiful and the scenery was indescribable. There is also alot of different towns with different feels. everything from Denver with its typical big city feel and tons of shops and resturaunts to the small town hippy feel of Monitou Springs(sp). Colorado Springs was great with a picturesque Mountain view but also having tons of great restaraunts and activities. I and my family love this state and will be back. Those wanting to come to Colorado for a smoking holiday can wait till next year when retail will be open or come anytime as scoring in Denver is safe and easy just get online and you will have choice of great herbs and you can even get edibles and hash/wax. I found Cl to be easy,safe and cheap. I myself am going to fly in for a solo stoner holiday later this summer or early fall. and am not in the least worried about getting all I need to smoke.
Hope you enjoy the read and for those who are gonna say I told you so, no you didn't. I stayed high the whole time smoked about 12 different kinds of herb and 5 different waxes and had so many edibles I cant remember. It was not Amsterdam but no place is. the only regret I had was not getting to meet other ACD members.
