Iv recently returned from my first visit to amsterdam. We went for a week

I've been back for a week now, and all I can think about is the dam and going again

Will it be like this for the rest of my life? I can't imagine not going at least 3 times a year untill I die

I miss it so much.

& your not alone , Wifey was after what is commonly known amongst the knowing as "doing a matty" (gotta love the way matty extends dam ) i'm always in a shitty mood 1st couple of days after a trip , best way to think is the end of a trip just means you start planning the next

happily it will be like this forever ....i spend most nights going to sleep by thinking about landing at schipol
and by the time im in a coffeeshop im usually asleep...also on the happy side i grow (pretty well after 15yrs at it imo)
so therefore im lucky to not let myself run out BUT i love to get to amsterdam and smoke and hang out and smoke and take it all in and SMOKE a friend of mine calls it Adultland which i think is a perfect name whichever way you want to play on the word
......

I enjoyed many dream visits after my first trip. Visits in my dreams might be a better way to explain it.

It's over 20 years since I first went, so from my experience I think yes. You've been bitten by the bug and it never leaves you.

There are quite a few people I've met in Amsterdam who visited once for a holiday and never actually left. Over a decade has passed and they are still there! Understandable as its such a cool place

Ppl who never been to holland will never get how we fell of the place... I'm asked each time why do you go there and not else where? Cuz I love the Dutch and everything about them!! Most ppl also think I go there just fo weed<< first 2 times yes but since then I just love everything about the country... Only one person I knows how I fell cause he in love with the republic and goes ther 6 time a year... He was one of them ppl who asked why he now knows how I feel !!
