My "worst" trip Nov 8th till 11th 2006

Evening all,
Had a bit of a crappy trip in some respects this time, not due to Amsterdam or the weed at all tho, i may hasten to add. What went wrong you ask? First day - one of my friends had his wallet with 420 euros in it, taken from his jacket pocket in Amnesia (he had it over a chair), it put a real pisser on the whole day. Second day - Another mate went to the cash machine took out 600 euros and was pick pocketed bout half hour later, and then 2 of us came down with flu, and to cap it all we all missed our flights back home on Saturday, Some of us managed to scrape together funds for flights back home, while me and a mate were stuck in Dam, sounds great! But its not when you have no money, cigarettes, food or drinks and 2 euros between 2 of ya!! Anyway my mate called our boss from work and asked him to pay for the flights over the phone and got back 13 hours late. Now im skint :( FYI £175 for a one-way flight to leeds/bradford airport :shock:

Apart from that we had a blast. So...... back to the important stuff - what i smoked and where i went!!!! :-

First stop Centraal - 2.5g PH89 Not a bad smoke but not great either

Hunters/coin - 5g Cambodian Haze for 50e. thats the shit right there!! powerful Haze new favourite of mine

Stix - 3g Temple Ball 12.5pg 2g Gunpowder 12.50pg Usuall quality smoke from this fine little coffeeshop, nice and quiet in there. quality smoke selection - GO HERE!

Bluebird - Met the ijbomb at last! only for an hour or so, very decent guy. Bought 3.6g Sage and sour diesel. Head starts to spin and feels like im wearing a "lead helmet". Got munchies now. I feel a NY pizza slice coming on!

Grey Area :P - 2g Martian Mean Green, Extreme high, 2g Connie chung, nice aroma here, 2g special K. - Looks like shit, doesnt smell that much, then knocks your head off :shock: . Definate "Creeper". All 12.50 per g

Amnesia - Laughing Buddha 10e i think, had me in stitches till my mate lost his wallet!

Homegrown Fantasy - Marocan Gold 12euros for 1.4g This is a good Maroccan for a good price, super sticky with a nice shiny "skin" Yummy :)

Dampkring - 3g Super Silver Haze 10.5pg 1g Nevilles Haze 10e - The smell from the SSH is Phenomenal what an odour!! The Nevilles was top banana too, first time ive ever had Nevilles, and it wont be the last!!

Smoking Bull - Smoking Bull isolator - 12euros pg. lovely stuff just crumbles nicely between your finger and thumb into the bowl, Bit harsh on the old throat tho. Got me hammered, and tried to play a game of darts afterwards, silly idea!

Hunters/coin - Super Pollen 1g 6.50pg Didnt really care much for this one, quite shit really


Well that was the first day over with, i went to loads more but cant remember right now :oops:

Favouriite C/shop - Stix - mellow tunes nice and quiet and a clean c/shop!! which is rare.

Favourite Weed - Its a tie between Cambodian Haze and Mean green, both take you up as high as a kite

Favourite Hash - Temple Balls from stix, this is what dreams are made of!!

THERE WILL BE MORE TO FOLLOW A BIT LATER ON, MAY BE AN HOUR, OR MAYBE A DAY. Just had a Charras and Reclining Buddha joint right now and ive lost all motivation temporarily

Yeah,that sucks man.Thanks for the info even after a nightmare trip.I'll have to keep that in mind when I'm there.My apartment is about 250 meters from Stix on Korte Koningsstraat. :D

Sorry to hear about what happened to your mates & missing the flights.

I had beware of pick pockets drummed into me before i went, so i only carried 30euros at any time & stashed it in deep button down pockets. I know a couple of people who have been robbed over there though.

Almost missed my plane when i went, partying until 4am getting to sleep at 5am and having a flight at 9am dont mix well....made it with a few mins to spare though, felt half dead on the plane.

Cheers for all of the info you've posted up despite having such a rough time.

hey axe - so sorry to hear about the thefts.... this is why I never take out more than 200 at a time from ATM. And never in a back pocket - always in a front pocket (I always travel with pants that have deeeeeep pockets...).


Regarding the smoke - Holy crap! That's a lot of smoke to consume in one visit.....sounds like you had a blast on that regard.
