Saw them when they came through town last December. Everybody had a great time.

Slightly OT, but I like how Sarah Polley deconstructed Hip's "Courage" into something evocative and sublime...

On a Saturday night, no less.

A friend of mine saw them at the Paradiso last time they played and he reported the Hip were fantastic. So good, he will be at this upcoming concert. If you are in town, then this will be a show to see.

Heres what i am thinking....arrive on june 25... Go utrecht for hip concert at the tivoli on june 26... Party in Dam june 27, day trip to haarlem on june 28....hip concert at paradiso on june 29....leave for london june 30....hip headline summer festivl concert at trafalgar square on july 1....head home july 2

Sadly, my car died today...$$$ will be too tight to make a trip in June...i am crushed, everything lined up from the airfare, to Voyagers to the tickets for concerts....alas...November will be even bigger now!
