First Piece of Glass

Post by exceluk1 »

Been doing a little bit of searching and like the look of these two pieces. Anyone any experiences of these two or recommendations for about the same price range?

I don't know about the other one but I have a weedstar ice bong and it's a good sturdy bong. It's no art glass but it does the trick and is well made. Added to that, your heart rate doesn't increase every time someone gets too close to it

The first one looks understated (in a good way), the second one looks like a bitch to clean and is also out of stock on that particular site!

They both look nice...
The prices are reasonable as well...
I recently purchased a Merlin-Bong Micro Circ at nearly double the price... damn.
I'm saving up for a Sheldon Black...
Happy dabbing, if that's what you intend... :)

I saw your Merlin pic, looks very nice, a little out of my price range at the min.

Looks like it has a touch of the steam punk aesthetic...
(i.e., this is how Jules Verne got baked 8) )

btw, my first piece of glass was some sorta hand pipe job.

Look what arrived this morning :D :D

Simple assembly with instructions in Dutchglish :? plus loads of good safety advice and how not to instantly break it you dumbasss MF

One mod I will be looking to make asap is an articulating bit of rubber on the inhale tube – as I saw in Anyday – which makes having a spaz when baked & snapping it off less likely. Also, it immeasurably improves accessibility to the thing… you almost have to use it standing up or have it on a low coffee table (which I don’t have).

I don’t know why Verdamper don’t do that rubber joint as standard, actually, because they’ve thought of pretty much everything else to make it user friendly out of the box. I even like the agricultural jam jar look - less likely to get broken than a fancy bottle. Might stick a coat of varnish on the wood too.

Knew I had to have one after the first time. Like breathing in scented air. The MFLB/K won’t get a look in now, unless I’m on the move. Definitely more bang for yer quid n’all - I put a tiny amount in for the trial run, which lasted ages & got me right up there. I’m not entirely sure, but I think the leaflet is implying it works with resin as well?...

It just gets better. 8)

Has anybody had any experience with Roor Bong 100 - Blue Series, or the Roor Bong 500 - Blue Series. They seem in my budget and roors seem to have a good reputation. Would this be a good first bong?

thanks

I would check this: http://www.head-nature.com/article/0796 ... -Cut.xhtml

It seems that head-nature has better prices, plus quite big assortment of glassware, no magic glass bongs 'tho.. :(

Edit: Damn, OP was made in may.. But while we're at it, why roor bongs cost that much?? The design doesn't seem to be that special and the prices going for those are insane imo.

cheers mate, seems it has good reviews elsewhere online. Im not sure if I should get the 250 or 500 for abit more size as I would be sharing it mostly with my girlfriend. If the 100 is still fine for that Ill opt for that works out just more than 45 £
