A good wake n bake hash?

Post by 420SAGE »

For some reason I always stick to the weed on my trips to Amsterdam; perhaps it's because I know what I'm talking about with weed and I have no proper knowledge of hash. I'm back in the 'Dam in a couple of weeks and I plan to try a few hashes but I am particularly keen to start the days with a nice hash joint and a cup of coffee.

Has anyone got any good recommendations for a nice wake n bake hash to preceed a days walking around the city and the obligatory coffeeshop crawls?

I'm always happy to ask the bud tenders advice, but it's good to have some tips and advice from the people here before getting over to Amsterdam.

Thanks in advance :)

I quite enjoyed zero zero from 1e hulp as a wake and bake. Also rifman sensible, although expensive. Some find it really strong but I didnt personally. As a weed smoker like you it eased me into the day nicely.

Thanks man, some interesting picks there. I'm only out there for a long weekend so I figure I'll treat myself to some of the high end stuff if it comes with a recommendation like yours.

As for my wake up choice of smoke I am also voting for a Moroccan Hash, a light, blonde, flowery tasting one would be preferable, that is going to set me up for the day to come, not knock me for six. Something like the Shezerade Sunset from Tweede Karmer/Dampkring is perfect, then out into the sunshine to enjoy the sights.
I like bananas, monkey nuts and grapes. That's why they call me Sam of the apes

That sounds ideal, thanks :)

Smell is going to be your best guide. It should not smell musty or sour. It should smell flowery and/or spicy.
Because life is too short to smoke bad bud.

I would go for Cream from the Graal (16e/g). Powerful yet uplifting effect which should suit you for daytime activities.

Also Rifman hash from Dampkring can be great, just ask the budtender which ones have more of an uplifting effect. Those are around the same price or a few euros cheaper than the Cream.

^^ Thanks for the tips ^^

So far the most sativa thing I've found here is Albert Heijn's instant espresso.

Sounds ideal, and we plan to visit both of those places. Thanks :)
