Hi, I'm going to the dam tomorrow and as well as having a smoke in the coffeeshops I'm also very interested in trying the truffles or shrooms if available. I've never done either before but have tripped off LSD a few times so do have some experience of psychadelics, I'd like to trip but nothing overly intense as I'll be on my own (I have tripped alone a few times before). Was just wondering if anyone could give me any advice on effects/dosages/strains or places to go for them...thanks

Also to elaborate, my idea was to sit in vondelpark/some other park and watch a sunset or something, wanna try and be somewhere green as nature seems to give me nice trips so far

I recently went the dam for the first time and tried truffles.

We had philosophers stones, low visual effect but a real deep thinking high

Got told eat on an empty stomach and only have half. We'd been smoking all day and had the munchies so ate, then ate them. But we had a whole pack each just to be safe.

We tripped fucking balls, got the giggles more intense than when you first get them trying weed and for a 'low' trip it was fucking intense. I can't describe what I saw but I used a plain white wall as television for a good while watching it trip and shit. Swear I saw in negative for a bit too.

My mate ate his on a burger and couldn't taste them, we munched them raw. They're fucking disgusting. I recommend eating them with something, you will still trip your balls off.

Lock yourself in your room and get munching !

As a quick question do you have to chew them for a while or can you just eat them as you would normal food. I've been told to chew them for a few minutes to increase effect, is this a load of bollocks?

Im a bit of a trippin veteran, i put together this on another post:


shrooms arent difficult to get, better sticking off with them. iv had most of the types of truffles available. they all taste horrible, bad corky texture, earthy taste followed by acidic after taste. it is possible to make a more palatible tea if you have the means (ideally a kitchen). it also means your stomach will be saved digesting the truffles which should cut down on stomach discomfort when tripping.

philosophers stones- very introspective. some visuals, mainly light bending of objects although mild. not much of a body high. very much mind surfing. can be very relaxing/pleasant but can also lead to depressing overanalizing of problems. can be very fun if you are in the right mood.

mexican truffles- little bit stonger than p.s. more colourful visuals although not full on mushroom visuals. more closed eye visulas (c.e.v) than open eye visuals (o.e.v) . i found them pleasant to trip on but a bit energy draining. trip distinctly differnt from mushrooms. tried various doses but always found them to be lacking the effect im looking for.

atlantis truffles- stronger effects than both mt and ps. stronger c.e.v and more o.e.v . gives a more shroom like trip with a little more energy. have had several times and would be my choice if shrooms were not available.

galindoil truffels- trip is very introspective, less visual than a.t. body load is much higher than p.s and m.t , and most likely you will hardly move an inch in hours. if you want a trip to think about your problems then this is the one for you. i didnt find them to be much fun and found them a bit physically uncomfortable as well.

pajateros truffles- very introspective trip with strong c.e.v . some o.e.v. trip can be very intense. found them to be alot stronger than other truffles, but not in a pleasant way. was left with a whats next?, have i taken too much? etc feeling early on in trip which eventually subsided. body load on these truffles is much greater than other truffles and i found it to be a major drag on the trip. wouldnt recomend these truffles as overall i found them unpleasant to trip on. many others i spoken to who also took them because they are strongest also said the same. i wouldnt take them again.


personally when it comes to shrooms i compare all shrooms/truffles to copelandia mushrooms (hawaiian). none of the truffles come close. Although some of the truffles are more potent than dried cubenisis mushrooms. To confuse things but smartshops will commonly reffer to the truffles with brand names such as "cosmic connections", "dragons dinamite", "mushrocks" etc and there are a few companies producing them. some brands are just various differnt weights of the same truffle. best to ask when buying them.

For the original poster- if you have plenty of solo trip experience then go for it but remember tripping in a strange country you have never been to can cause panicy/confusing feelings whilst tripping. If i were you i would get some supplies and start the trip in your hotel room before venturing out to explore thre city after you peak. I love nothing more than wandering the streets tripping late at night. In fact you are inspiring me to visit amsterdam again very soon.

Golden rule- Shrooms are not a part drug, although they can make you feel very good. They can also make you feel very, very bad. Always treat mushrooms with respect and they will show you there is more to the world than you though possible.

I'll just add. We took them about 2/3pm, after I came down I kaned through joint after joint to get me sleepy. It didn't work

Ok so I could use some help. Going to the Dam in a few days for about a 5 day stay. Wanted to have a good trip in the park but I don't know where to get shrooms. If anyone knows where I can find them or what to look for in shops that sell them under the table, hit me up with a PM. Def appreciate any help.

There are rumors that the smartshops in the city have been raided and shrooms confiscated. I can't confirm but just wanted to let you know.

Oh damn that's some bad news for sure. But I def appreciate the heads up on it though.

From my Experience LSD is better.Both Feel quite the same but LSD is more pure,on Mushrooms you notice that its more a toxification than a pure Drug.At least this is my experience and most of my Buddys agreed,if they took LSD before.

On the Strains i would prefer the small Hawai Type.
A good but very strong method to take them is too put them in Tea with much Honey.I think its like Weedtea where you have to put alot of fat-milk in cause thc only dissolves in fat but not in Water.I think the Psyloscobin has the same relation to Honey.

When you put 1 3-4 cm big Hawai Mushroom into a Tea with many Honey you will for sure notice the Effect.And it also taste Good
I would suggest you do this as starter Dosage.

The Mexican Strain is weaker and the Mushrooms are way bigger.I only bought them 1x as the Hawaian was not avaible.I dont like them at all,the Mushrooms are big and with many not nice looking parts,they look ugly and not taste good.When you bite on them you can feel the bitter fluid coming out.

The Hawain are only few cm high,with tiny stemp and a coin sized Head.


It seems LSD complete is away from the Drug Market.The last time i saw LSD was,i think 17 Years ago.We most times had it as little thin Cardboard pieces,we called them "Pappe" which literaly means carton,cardboard.They always had pictures imprinted,i can remember a Type where a smiling Sun was on,they was called "Sonnen"-"Suns".A other Type showed a man (Albert Hoffmann) riding a old bycicle,they was called "Hoffmanns".


BTW: If you ever see any "2CP" Pills in a Smartshop buy them!!! I think they are banned again,but they was often 3 months banned,then the company added some placebo-chemical to the mix like milkpowder or so (together with the real effect making 2cp) and the Ministry has to make a new Ban procedure so they was legal again until then
Dont know what the actual situation is,but if you can get them you must buy them.
Its better than every LSD or Mushrooms you ever had i promise.
You will have hard laughing attacks but with a full working brain (not like LSD where you can get Panic or Horror),you can even take it with clean people without getting Mad from their talking and you also have this happy "i love the whole world" feeling from Ecstasy .I also had this extreme increased Humor (you will laugh about everything so hard that your stomach pain and you roll over the floor beating the ground with your fist while you laugh).I think when on 2CP "laughing to death" could be a real possibility


I dont know if any Smartshop has a under-the-counter Trade of them,but when you look Tourist enough just ask for them,they know as Tourist you cant know all actualy law changes and if there forbidden they will tell you,and if not they perhaps can tell you where to get them..
