1) November 2013 - Arrived at 10am. First smoke of the trip so thought I'd grab some Pink Kush. At €17.50 g I thought the price was a bit much, but still proceeded to buy anyway judging on smell and look (which were both really nice). The Asian Budtender told me to look at it under the microscope, to which I was sold. Rolled up a fat one and to my amazement it would not light! I would have 1 or 2 tokes of the joint and it would be out again. Not to mention the harsh taste and horrible smell when burning. Needless to say I was very disappointed.

1) May 2014 - Having sat in the downstairs area before, me and a few mates decided to buy some weed and chill out with a chocomel (as you do when in Dam). Anyway, we noticed a draft of cold air kept hitting my us, mainly annoying my friend who was sat nearest the wall. He quickly turned, and we all noticed that there was gap between where the Budtenders feet were, and where we were sitting. We could basically see behind the counter and could even reach through (if we wanted to). Towards the end of our smoke we noticed the Budtender dropped a large bud of something, and it rolled down next to my friends feet. I saw it, and quickly told my friend to pick it up and put it in his bag. The Budtender must not have even noticed as no one said anything to us. Needless to say I was happy, as last time I felt I had been conned with what I had purchased. We quickly left the shop to examine what we had acquired and to my excitement, It looked like a lovely bud of Super Silver Haze! Id say it weighed about 4-5 g! I could tell it was Super Silver Haze from the smell and taste! Magnificently sweet smelling with a piney/pungent taste!

So I guess this was one of my worst and one of my best Coffeeshop moments, all from 1 place. Other than that I've not really had a bad experience or any real shit weed as I usually inspect before I buy.
I fell for that pink kush once never go in that shop again. Roll on 420

I laughed and laughed at the story and see nothing offensive at all.

I doff my hat to his achievement and hopeful success with it. I've worked in publishing for many years, it's a tough gig for an author to get published especially with such a specialised topic. Doing it and publishing it yourself can only be applauded in my mind.

I wish you nothing but good luck with it.

Don't think that you're doing yourself any favours with quotes like this mate, " I call it the "Chubby Brown" sense of humour where one takes the piss out of oneself as well as others." Chubby Brown may well take the piss out of himself, but dishing it out to "OTHERS" is his speciality. I think we all understand what is meant by others, and as for taking the piss? Read spouting venomous hatred, using vile, insulting and discriminatory language that I would not wish to use here or indeed anywhere else.

Your book doesn't happen to include any comedic episodes involving a visit to the Black Star coffeeshop or suchlike?

No, I haven't read your book. My point was, that by you likening it's style of humour to that of Roy Chubby Brown's would not encourage me to do so. A stance that may well be adopted by many others. In fairness to yourself, as I say, I've not read it so can't criticise it's merits, but I know what come to my mind when I hear the name Chubby Brown.

Ahh right now I have reread your post I see what you were saying.....your quite correct though I do spout venomous hatred, using vile, insulting and discriminatory language as often as the story and the facts demand it....right wing hate bile someone else said.....and that doesn't include the rampant homophobia and unchecked racism.....please call me Hitler
