The Great Sativa Hunt

Had the idea to start a thread in order to find the best currently available Sativas in Amsterdam. We can keep this one updated, so others will have less trouble with finding the good ones. Ideally your suggestions should be from within the last two weeks. Batches and quality can change fast in Amsterdam.

My latest favs:

Silver Haze (11e) Siberie: Steady climbing high, much clearer than most of the Super Silvers I've had this time.

Serious6 (14/16e) Greenhouse: Gives me a great head rush everytime, very unique taste and smell.

Old School Haze (15e) Amnesia: Very clear and energetic, very good smell and taste, could smoke it all day.

AG13 (14e) Dampkring: This one can bring up hidden thoughts/emotions, a great weed to have deep conversations.

Great idea, Q.

I agree with the old school haze you shared, though I came to the table pre-fogged.

I put Katsu's Mango Haze on this list- it blasted me from the UvA area over to the Spaarndammerbuurt in 50 min., and in time for a tour, earlier today. I felt about 25% lighter as I magic-carpeted over there, grooving with the flow of bikes and peds.

Tip when using verdamper- cover the top to make more heat, and dus, a stonier high.
Leave the top open to emphasize a more energetic high.

Cheers, sativa enthusiasts

Nice of you to take the time to start this thread, and provide some information as well. :)
...however,
...similar to keeping the coffee shop menus site current, perhaps better though because some don't allow pics, it will only be as good as those who take the time to provide the information, as you and EasilySuede have. Thanks peeps...
I'll be sure to add my findings the next time I happen to find myself in possession of some fijn mokum sativa.
Happy sativa hunting...

8) Thanks EasilySuede & Uncle Ron.

Today I went to the Greenplace to check their menu. Looked at and smelled Blue Chronic, but it was neither blue nor smelled good. So I went for Amnesia 666 instead... very strong Sativa, but it left me active enough to take pictures and walk around in the sun without feeling out of it. So for 9 euros this is very good, especially for those who built up their Sativa tolerance after a long day of getting high. I'm usually not really into Amnesia but this one is quite nice and even gave me a bit of a body high.

I will probably be shafted for suggesting this but I'll do it anyway. If Yo-Yo has the imported Durban Poison on the menu then try a pure one. Very good energetic sativa high. Marching weed.

Great idea for a thread Quazer, love it as I'm a Sativa hound myself and am always on the hunt for good ones in Mokum. When I was there last September they were hard to find...everyone was stocked with indicas. Looking forward to trying some of these recommendations in a couple weeks.

Never been much of a Greenhouse fan but that Serious6 sounds tasty!

Thanks guys!

Got the 100% Sativa from Paradox for the first time today. I'm not 100% sure about placing it on the list yet. Gonna edit the post tomorrow after an early smoke on clear head.

Late Night edit: I was wondering if this should only be about Sativas with clear head rush effects... however I think that would narrow down the possible posts even more... better to take them all in and try to be clear with the effect description instead. More edits to follow...

Morning edit: The 100% S. is giving me a hard time. Imo it doesn't belong on the list with the greatest Sativas in town. Yeah I know it's pretty strong and all that (compared to Grinspoon) but something is missing here. I can get Sativa with "buzzy" strong effect for less than 10 euros in the West, so for me this was a waste of time and money. This one doesn't look too good when compared to the weeds in my first post of the thread...

I know some of you like strong Sativas that knock your socks off like an Indica. So if you wanna go in that direction try Lemon Ice from the Bij (9e). Before I lit it up for my park walk yesterday my thoughts were "I dare you to make me stoned". Oh boy did it mess me up... I was totally blasted for over 2 hours. It made me feel my tired legs and pushed me to get some rest without mercy. Sort of a dazed head high with a pretty strong body effect.
