Hard to find a good lebanese in the dam. katsu has a good batch but it was 2 years ago. good luck

ve just been looking on coffeeshop menus and coffeeshop goa has it on there menu dont know the quailty.hope you find what your looking for.

Kashmir has some good red leb dude. 7€ a gram if I remember correctly.

There is NO THING that even resembles the once powerful red leb.....the exports have trickled to nothing..and the Amsterdam coffeeshops ain't where it's going...thru the years I've never found anything close to what red leb did in the 80s....they'll look ya in the eyes and swear its real...it's not..go to Lebanon ,prob the only real chance anymore...good luck

the only proper red leb that i have ever bought in amsterdam wasn't from a coffeeshop and it was fairly old and a bit of a disappointment.
as bonglord states it's just not something that turns up anymore.

This. Coffeeshop Sevilla was the last place I ever found good red leb

Katsu was the last place I saw it, but it was not great then.

I think it's one of those things that don't exist any more. Chapiteau had some Syrian hash that was similar but it's been off the menu for almost 2 years...which is just about the time since the civil war started there.

As some one who lived very close (few hundred meters) to the Southern Lebanese border for many years, I can tell you that USBL is 100% correct, there has not been any really good Lebanese hash since early to mid 80's.
Most of the hash producers were in southern Lebanon, an area that after the war with Israel in 1982 was occupied by Israel, so most. if not all, of the producers left.

The good Lebanese hash that was readily available until then, was probably the best hash I ever smoked.

Very interesting. Was there a connection between the Lebanese militias and the hash producers? Or why did Israel put a stop to it?

I'm not sure if Israel stopped it or if there was a connection between the militias and the hash producers. Although a lot of militias and terrorist groups in many locations in the world, use drug money to promote and fund their causes. Afghanistan, Pakistan, some south and central American countries are all good examples of that fact.
I was told once that some of the producers started to produce opium/heroin instead as it payed more, and that many others left the area due to the war, but that was many many years ago.

Managed to get hold of some red leb in the UK recently so it's still about although this stuff went very quickly and wishing I bought more of it
