No weed for tourists ? Answers please!

So I'm looking at booking a trip in August
.... A guy who was in the pub the other night said he was challenged twice for being a tourist by bud tenders?
I did see something on the news but only caught the end ... I saw notifications in the windows of some coffee shops?
High times! Hope someone tells me that guy was talking wind!

Don't worry about it mate, he was talking sh1te
It affects some areas of the Netherlands but Amsterdam is unaffected.
Some coffeeshops are having to close because they are too close to schools but still plenty left.
