First trip over 25-28th June

Post by mitzi »

Hi all

I'm off on my first trip to Amsterdam next week for my birthday.

I'm staying at the bottom of Damrak St

I've had a good look round the site and got a idea of some coffee shops I want to visit.

However my other half doesn't smoke so doesn't want to spend all days in the CS which is fair enough,
So am wondering what other places can you go and still smoke?

Cheers in advance

Mitzi,

Have a great trip!

There are a number of smoker friendly bars in Amsterdam so you can toke while your other half has a beer. They include:

Nes Café

Rick's Café

LostinAmsterdam

You can also enjoy a joint and the scenery in Vondelpark

Welcome to the forum.

You have been posted on the June Whos In Town page.

You can see who else may be in town during your stay.

If you don't see yourself, click your refresh or reload button
Your browser sometimes loads pages from your local cache and
you don't get the latest update.

Watch for Toke & Talks, I post them up to the last minute.
The is one already posted for the 27th.

Set yourself up with your own T&T or Toke and Talk, where you pick the coffeeshop (your favorite)
and the date and time, I will post it and you wait for folks to show up, if they do you'll have a
T&T. If they don't you still get to enjoy your favorite coffeeshop!

By default I link your posting to your profile page here on ACD.

I can change it to a web link ( myspace, facebook, personal page )
or an email address if you want.

You can do a little practice shopping on the Coffeeshop Menus page.
Any with arrows are less than six months old.

Any nice new menu pictures you can get will be much appreciated.
Always ask first, better told no than thrown out.

First timers get my S G Collins recommendation
I think a read of this will maximize your efficiency once you get there.

How not to get hit by a bike and other stuff they forgot to tell you about Amsterdam.

There are museums for almost anything you can think of from art to purses to torture.

Enjoy

its your birthday.. but there are some food places that allow smoking and going to the park would be a nice relaxing time (but alot of walking)
rent a pedal boat get really high and hit every boat you go past (its funnier than it sounds)

Might wanna check this post:
https://www.coffeeshopdirect.com/forum/viewt ... &hilit=Spa

and use the search lots of fun stuff for smokers and non smokers alike. I sent my girl to the spa for 90 minutes, but since we've both agreed next time is a few hours. This will allow for some serious hash intake. Enjoy your trip!
