I was at Testing Tuesday, even if some slackers weren't:
And quite aromatic and tasty Satsuma it was too:
Five types of weed, but the only one I can name with certainty is the Northern Lights from Repelsteeltje in Leeuwarden in the middle. Ice from Utoop is there as well:
Various hash samples – of the unwrapped ones, the brown upper left is King Hassan from Prix d'Ami, good but not quite as wonderful as I'd remembered; the black rectangle below it is what Repelsteeltje calls isolator, decent but not outstanding; then two samples of Nepal, from somewhere, one permanently wedded to the warme oortjes from Central. The wrapped ones are a fair amount of Nepal, with Manali, Pakistani, Turkish in there somewhere:

Mata Hari is big in Leeuwarden:
Here her left hand is pointing to the upper level of the coffeeshop de Os, where there's a pool table and some ergonomically designed chairs, or at least that's what I assume they are:
For some reason, I imagined this side street coffeeshop as a dive and didn't even look into it last time, I don't think. But Epsilon's review was positive, so I thought I'd have a smoke there. I'm glad I did. Good gear, good atmosphere and old signs as decoration – reasons for anyone to stop in on a visit, I'd have thought.
The only free-range cat I saw in Leeuwarden:
They seem to spend a lot of time inside, regarding the outside world as cat television:
View from de Oldehove, the leaning tower of Leeuwarden:
Beach football from above:
Am I the only person who thinks this shows something odd about the Dutch? Anyone who can say why I took the picture can join me in a bowl of Leeuwarden's finest weed.
More to come, as I'm being self-indulgent.

nice observation ...
thanks for your report, i enjoyed my read this morning with my coffee+ and nice to hear tales from other places, good detail in your story with nice pics, and you got about and did things rather than just sink into a sofa somewhere, it was fun to hear about it all

Excellent report, even if I was expecting more lion...
Agree about the Satsuma... Quite pleasant with a real hint of miniature citrus in the aftertaste... Can't speak for potency, as I lost all ability to tell after 5 mins in the city.
Thanks again!
