yo was an nice meet up he was a bit late but we had an 420 joint at rookies 7 kinds hash and northern lights it was nice
then we walked to 2e kamer we smoked a 8 kinds of hasj joint and then we smoke some silver thai haze
after that we walked to Grey area smoked there grey haze and a joint of super silver haze from 2e
then we left each other

was fun meeting you Gapie, sorry if I seemed a lil spaced I'd been smoking since the morning lol. The grey haze was fantastic, defo planning a few more trips to Grey Area when I have money. I also need to check out voyagers some time soon. got Candy Kush from happy feelings last night, (10e p/g) its a pretty nice smoke but doesnt seem to make me particuleraly tierd so smoked some cheese before bed as well as a joint of noor hashish from 2e, which is the nicest hash i've had yet.

if anyones in 2e kamer or de dampkring today keep an eye out, also maybe 1e hulp later on bout 9ish. wearing black cargo pants

Jack - Thanks for the report and updates! If you want to get more bang for your buck you might want to try some of the cheaper strains at Dampkring, such as White Choco, Bubblegum and Ol' Skool Skunk, if they have it. The Ol' Skool Skunk might not be listed on the menu, so ask about it and ask the BT's opinion about all these strains. I've found Dampkring's cheaper strains (7-8 euros/g) to be excellent in the past. If you're willing to spring for a little more, get half a gram of Rifman Hash and sprinkle some pieces in a j of Bubblegum or White Choco - it's absolutely paradise! Good luck and keep us updated.

Really interesting report. Good reminder that the 'Dam can be achieved on a very small budget that doesn't diminish the experience at all with some creativity and discipline.

CJ very true, in fact some of the best weeds I've had have been the cheaper ones (Honeyd dew from twede kamer 8.50 p/g and Yellow Cab from Grey Area 9.50 p/g)

Anyways I went home for a couple of weeks to see people and sort shit out and now I'm back again, this time for at least a month, longer if I get some sort of job. Arrived yesterday about 8ish and was at prix dami shortly before 9. they're out of dr grinspoon and had no wax, which is a shame as I was looking forward to dr grinspoon and my friends coming out next week for her birthday and she wanted to try some wax. The A.M.G Haze (12.50 p/g) was really nice though, uplifting happy high still pretty motivated and upbeat, after two joints I was still able to walk back to Centraal, top up my ovi card and catch the number 17 to my friends where I'm staying (miles outta town in the new west, but its much better than a hostel). He has a couple friends from France staying, so we smoked a joint of A.M.G and a joint of super silver thai together and get to know one another (me and Gregory, the french guy, I already know Sebastiaan) and I find out there is another french guy but he was taking speed and hallucinogenics and wandered off in the middle of the night (Walking round the new west on your own on drugs in the early hours of the morning does not sound like fun) then Bas and Greg go to the supercoop for some munch whilst I head coffeeshop sensemilia (which is our nearest one, and pretty good) after deciding against getting zilfer haze (I can get it cheaper at boerejongons) and amnesia haze (smoked it the day before I came back to Amsterdam) I got some white shark, which was nice but I don't think I should have started on the indica's that early.

Later on (about a hour and a half later on lol) we went to Twede Kamer, where Roy behind the bar said hello and shook my hand and I got some m4 Amnesia (one of my favorites 9 p/g) chatted for a while and met up with Gregory and Thomas (the french guy who'd gone missing. he was alive and well) then I set off to meet Gapie at Grey Area where I chatted to a couple of girls in the line about different weeds and bought a gram of yellow cab and then we set off for utopia, where I was introduced to nel z bub who gave me a cup of proper British tea! (a minor miracle in Holland and putting utopia straight on the top 5). I also picked up half a gram each of afghan hash and powerplant. We chilled for a while, smoke some yellow cab and some kandy kush and discussed the genetics of candy kush vs kandy kush. The candy from happy feelings (10 p/g) isn't as strong as the Kandy kush Gapie smoked with me, and I've read online that one has trainwreck in the genetics and ones doesn't. That said, the trainwreck from twede kamer (8.50) is better than the trainwreck from greenhouse (14 p/g) IMO, so it could be the same weed with different spellings grown better, you never know. Later we headed over to a bar, at which point I said goodbye and went to meet up with Sebastiaan Greg and Thomas at the alber hijn by dam square, short walk to a bench down some steps by a canal, a regular place for people to sit and get high (half of you reading this have probably sat there and smoked a joint or three at some point) we had a few joints and I realized that the lack of sleep and the ten or so joints I'd smoked had began to catch up with me, so I went the leidsplien burger king for a large whopper meal to sort myself out, met up with the guys again and walked with them to spustraat, where they went a smart shop and I went twede kamer again. the honey dew was shake, so I only got a gram before heading to 1e hulp for some white widow then smoked a joint of the honey dew on my way to the tram stop, came home and slept for a hour or so till the guys got back, then we sat up and smoked and chilled till about 3 or 4 in the morning. The lasting impression from that night is an Englishman, a Dutchman, and two Frenchmen smoking hashish by candle light in Amsterdam whilst watching fear and loathhing in Las Vegas, perfect way to spend my first night back and a reminder of why I love this city. This morning Thomas and Greg left and Sebastiaan's just gone out to work so I'm typing this up before heading out to meet up with him in the center. I'm probably visiting grey area again today, along with checking out voyagers and greenplace. Anyone up for a T&T?

2nd day started with a Yellow cab joint, then I typed up the previous day whilst smoking super silver thai with sebastiaan, followed by m4 amnesia and fourth joint that had a bit of all 3 in it after sebastiaan went out to go to work and I finished my typing.

Left my indicas at home so I wasn't tempted to smoe them during the day and caught the tram into town. Dampkring sadly didn't have scorpino haze on the menu anymore but they did have ag13 durban which I got a gram of and was happy with, its a pretty nice smoke but not exactly what I was looking for. Stop round the corner to speak to my friend manuel in his shop then it's off to find greenplace. I know what it looks like and that it's near neuw market so this shouldn't be too difficult.....

...and it isn't I find greenplace faster and easier than expected and decide straight away to get some shoreline, even though I was origionally going for one of the 7e a gram ones but the northern lights didnt smell like anything special and I already have white widow. I order a coffee (which is actually the first coffee I've ever drank in a coffee shop, normally I get a tea or hot chocolate) and chat with the budtenders for a while and examine the Jack Herrer, which smells great so I get a gram.

Surprisingly, Jack Herrer is one of the strains that usually disapoints me in Amsterdam. The last really good example of it I had was back in June and was in the U.K. It looked a very light green in colour and had a peppery slightly sativa like smell to it, along with a sativa taste and a creative relaxed high. The Jack's I got from greenplace actually compared well to the one at home, but I was already very stoned off the shoreline so it may not be a fair comparison which is why I plan to get more today or tomorrow. Later I go to 2e kamer to meet up with Sebastiaan and he gets half a gram of super lemon haze which makes a very nice spliff and the effect is a good combination with the Jack herrer we're also smoking. When the Jack runs out I grab some Honey Dew (my favourete) and we have a spliff of that before leaving.

We have tea at my Auntie B's house (Sebastiaans mum) and get a hashish recomendation from a lady who knows hash. Dutifully we stop across the road on the way to the tram stop for a gram of zero zero and after noticing a fouvorete on the menu I pick up a half g of Kandy Kush as well before we head home where I update facebook and we have a joint of Kandy Kush and a hash joint, watch some tv and smoke a joint of shoreline on the balconey before bed.

Gapie Kandy Kush definatly tastes a bit different to Candy kush and I think its stronger as well. Obv the one fromm Grey Area is incredible, but the one from 1e hulp is pretty strong as well. thin if I had to rank them it'd look a lil like this
