Today I headed into town late afternoon and called in boerejongons for a gram of jungle hae and a lighter for my collection (which is getting stupid now lol) then hoped back on the tram into town. walked into the centre and set off for stones cafe to try and find some Mr. Nice. they had it in pre rolleds, so I bought one and another lighter, then headed voyagers for a smoke and a good cup of tea.

the Mr Nice joint was pretty short, making me at first think it was a rip off but it burned slow, and turned brown as it smoked, like joints with a good amount of weed in them do. tasted skunky, and got me stoned for ages.

went burger king for some lunch the back to voyagers to meet gapie and jwall and hillbilly. Smoked a joint of Jungle Haze with Gapie and was properly introduced to Highly Blessed.

whilst wechilled and wondered what to do and if Jwall and Hillbilly had gone to bed or not we chilled outsiide voyagers, and a guy who was checking in left his beer by a lampost with HB watching it and a guy who HB called "fake french snoop" tried to steal it HB fucked him off, and as he left he protested that: "Why do you talk to me like this? I am just a normal person." as he left we discussed how a guy who picks up half empty beer in the street is far from fucking normal.

Jwall and Hillbilly arrived (we've already seen each other but not been introduced, they were both in voyagers when I first visited with Nat the other day )

I got 20 euro of the el cid kush (9/10, good taste and effect and waaaay better and more memorable than the flowerbomb kush) made a couple joints and we mostly stood outside the shop, talked about all sorts from government, cannabis laws, our lives, cannabis genetics, the cannabis cup, and food to name a few )
spent quite a while at voyagers today, was really good chilling with you guys, safe journey home Hillbilly and Jwall, hopefully I'm stillherewhen you come back
bout 10 maybe half past I set off for greenplace, picked up some jack herrer and some northern lights, the jacks is good but not as good as last time and the northern lights is the high end of average but nothing special.

on the way back I thought fuck it, and stopped in my favourete haunt Twede Kamer, had a look at afew of the new additions to the menu and settled on 5 euro of bio high something that smelled better than the other two. best purchase today except for the el cid kush. Chilled there for a while and chatted with the staff a little bit, but it was too busey for a proper conversation.

caught the last tram home, going bed in a minute with a joint of the kush I think

also forgot to mention Gapie showed me how to work the Volcano's and I smoked my 2nd vape ever! (used the ones in dolphins but theyre not as nice as the Volcano's IMO) Really enjoyed it, spliffs are still my favourete way of smoking but I can see why a lot of people are calling vapeorisors the futre of weed smoking

looks like Barneys (where they have them on every table I think) Might be more than just a buy and fly next time I get some Liberty Haze

yesterday headed out about 5 or 6ish, went boerejongons and ended up going bij instead just cos I've never been there. didn't realise how close they are till I went yesterday lol. Got the NY Desil, good example of desil, great taste and smell and you can smoke it and be stoned without being fucked.

Next stop was voyagers to meet gapie, got a brew and rolled a joint whilst I waited, a german couple next to me got a pre rolled then a gram of suer bio lemon and asked me to make them a joint. I obliged, and they not only bought me a drink but let me keep the rest of the bag!! I made another spliff and had the last of the bud in a vape with Gapie.

HB broke out the bong for a dabbing session and I had a go, wasn't like the first time I ever smoked weed but it was stronger than anything else I've ever smoked, I was stoned for a good few hours, although I did smoke another desil joint in that time with Gapie, can't be looking like a lightweight in front of ACDers

Left Voyagers around 10ish I think topped up ovi kaart then got some honey dew from 2e kamer to smoke before bed

stopped boerejongons on the way home, met probebly the friendliest budtender ever. got out the different weeds i asked about and let me have a smell and feel of the buds, gave recomendations without being pushy, discussed the genetics with me and even gave me a loaf of free papers.

writting this from voyagers, which has slowly become my new hangout. TBH the chairs are a lot more comfey than 2e kamer and although I'm still trying to learn dutch, it's nice to understand the conversations going on around me

anyway, yesterday me and Bas made space cakes, they're nice and IMO stronger than coffeeshop one. one of these and youll sleep till lunch the next day and later we went voyagers, too late for testing tuesday but the LA confidential is lovely
Stopped at boerejongons on the way home for some white choco and super silver haze, got a joint of each and a cocktail from 5 euro worth of each

Saving money today, on the Jack Herrer from Greenplace. still good, but not as good as the jacks I've had in the uk

What kind of job have you got/looking for in 'dam if you dont mind me asking?

Away from b/t and the general tourism sector is it difficult for a non-dutch speaker to find a job over there?
Has always interested me as im bored as fuck with this country and well it be a bonus where i could go to a coffeeshop rather than a stinking wetherspoons after a long shift.

I'm looking for any sort of work tbh, I've been a barman in the past and I'm pretty good at it, plus I worked at Anfield which looks good on a resume.
Idealy I'd be a budtender, but except in tourist places and the few english or american run coffeeshops you need to speak dutch to even serve drinks in a coffeeshop, let alone be a budtender, although that is one of the things I'd like to do (Unlike a million other stoners, it's not my dream, just something I'd be good at and like to do. My dream is to be snoop doggs personal weed dealer, or my generations Howard Marks)

I've got more going for me than it seems, I've been to Amsterdam before (first time with school when I was 14 or 15, I smoked a joint in vondelpark with some backackers and my life changed forever, but thats another story) and I have a few friends out here, places to stay and I understand enough dutch to be able to listen to people, even if I can't talk back much.

Also, I have an ovi chipin kaart and can ride side sadle on the back of a bike! (like you see dutch teenagers doing)

Anyway back to travel logging: Thursday was too long ago for me to remember details, except I didn't do or spend a lot. Friday I stopped by both stones and voyagers, had a proper look at the stones menu but saw nothing I really wanted except another mr nice pre rolled, then picked up 20 euros of the el cid kush and chilled for a while. Met up with sebastiaan and decided to chek out central on our way back toward the centre, there was no amnesia so we got some silver haze instead. Wierdly, out of the 4 joints I made from 10 euros worth, one of them tasted really really horrible.
We sat and had lunch in dam square, people watching and eating chicken, discussing polotics and busking and life. smoking joints as the crowds slowly thin and the street entertainers pack up to be replaced by the homeless. we walk to 2e kamer, and spend a pleasent hour or two there, chatting to old friends and smiling to new face. more tourists than normal, most of them reguler visiters to Amsterdam from other parts of europe. I stop at johnny on the way to the tram stop (Sebastiaan has a bike) and get chronic from the rasta budtender and enjoy the music before wandering down to look at the canal festival stage then home to bed.

A qiuet money saving weekend in, still fun though as boerejongons is the 2nd closest coffeeshop, and sensemilia (which is even closer) has decent weed at low prices.
theres a tarpaulin huing up with hooks and stretched over several umbrelas to protect the sofa on the balconey, now we can sit out here in the rain.
