Hello everyone,

First of all i would like to thank you all for contributing to this amazing forum! I have found loads of great info here in preparation for my first Amsterdam trip!

I get into dam on the 21st and as you can imagine I'm crazy excited! Ive got multiple ACD maps printed with the coffee shops i want to visit highlighted Living in the Middle East Im accustomed to hash more than weed as weed if you can get it is ridiculously priced (100e a gram) so as you can imagine its only bought on special occasions and hash is around 20e a gram. It is beautiful hash though, lovely squidgy with aromas that give you goosebumps every time you smell it!

Just thought i would introduce myself and thank you all for the great info. I shall be posting a review of my purchases when i return from holiday and ill do what I can about getting menu pics to share and of course pics beautiful buds.

Im looking out more for good strong sativas so if anyone has any good recommendations of whats currently available that would be great. Im going with my girlfriend who likes to smoke as well but would be looking for more of a mellow high as she is not such a regular smoker, so anything you guys could recommend to suit her would also be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like you're ready to hit the ground running once you get to A'dam. Sounds like you know what you want and where to look for it. Good deal.

Some of my favorite shops are Utopia, de Graal, Club Media, and Eerste Hulp. Try to get out of the centrum and visit some shops. Media and de Graal are both near the Albert Cuyp markt, which she would like, I'm sure.

Thank you! Yes i wanted to be prepared rather than get there an be overwhelmed. Thank you very much for your recommendations, Utopia is already on my list and i have added club media and de Graal. I've also read great things about 1eHulp so will need to go there too!

Our hotel is located a bit south of Amsterdam and we are going to try and walk as much as possible so unless we use the tram we will be entering A'dam starting from the bottom of the map near the coffeeshops 'little', 'mellow yellow', 'noon'. Not sure what these are like but as they are essentially the closest to our hotel im sure we will pop in for the first smoke there as we work our way into the town center.

Please visit a Greenhouse Shop then and buy some "Bubblemania" and make a little Report perhaps with pictures of the Hash and how you can mix it (if you mix it) with Tobacco.
Im realy intrested in that Hash unfortuneatly i cannot visit Amsterdam atm ;(

Oh and the King Hassan/King Hassan Extreme must be good too it has won the Cup already

It used to be really cheap to buy but like everywhere, over the years it has become more and more expensive. The weed that you can get its flown im directly from Amsterdam (apparently) it is crazy good quality but as its so rare any weed will have mass effect. The worst part is that you have to buy 5g minimum, which means roughly 500e per purchase! And you are only taking the suppliers word that it what he says it is. Recently ive had some amnesia haze, jack herrer and red dragon. But again thats what im told it is so who knows

The hash we get is lovely as well, but as i live on a small island it means majority of it is brought in by individuals who basically price fix. But it is legit, and always has the known and loved gold stamp. But as its so expensive im hoping dam is that good ill give up smoking here and just save the money to fly to dam every couple of months. Fingers crossed!!

Well when Weed is soo expensive you should start Growing.In earlier Times i always thought you must be a Botanic Proffesor and you have to buy 10.000 Euro Grow Equipment to grow decent Weed cause all trys we make as we was 15,16,17.. totaly failed.

But we used totaly Bad Seeds (a big Bag (1g Weed Bag) filled up complete with Seedsfor 5 DM) and had no Lights,no Fertilizer nothing.Today i know its not soo hard when you have correct Seeds for Outdoor or a Lamp for Indoor.

When you buy 1 single Sodium high Pressure Light you can grow 6-9 Plants,and with artificial Light you can Harvest 4 to 5 Times a Year.
I think 9 Plants can bring you 400 Gramms of Weed all 3 Months,when you grow on 1m² with 1 Lamp.I guess thats more than you smoke so perhaps you can use less then 9 Plants.
A normal Indoor Plant which is thought to be harvested in 3 months dont grow to big trees,its rather small,when you remove all Leavs and Stemps and all Water is dried out you can calculate with 40-70 Gramms per Plant.
