Just got given a hookah as a present....trying to get to grips with it, think Ive got it now
has anyone else used/got one? any tips would be appreciated!

ive done several hookah sessions on a friends 6 foot 8 hose hookah and it is just wonderful well besides that if u get a problem with suction between the hose and hookah connection gum always worked for his. (just let it dry before u use) crude but effective.

one question tho, Is it best to use the charcoal to keep the buds warm, as you would with the flavoured tobacco? or would you just light it and suck? Im unsure as to what would be the best way when using skunk

we used charcoal to start but at the end we just used our big grill lighter at the end to get the remaints(big bowl)

Charcoal or just regular hot coals if they are available - I only ever used one hookah, brought back from Tunisia - it was a nice novelty but I think they are more suited for ornamental use as I get more stoned from a small bong.
