Greetings from the Northeastern US

Hi All!

Very excited to find this form as I'll be traveling to Amsterdam for my first time in the middle of September!

We'll be staying in Hilversum, so already excited to see that coffeshops exist outside of Amsterdam! We're planning to rent some bikes, do some traveling and see as much as we can in a week. Really hoping to go to the Trappist brewery that makes La Trappe beer!

We're from Maine, the most Northeastern US State. The purpose of our trip is to unfortunately bury the other half of my grandfather, but he was born and raised in Holland and he wanted to go back at the end :) Our task is to bring him home, reconnect with some family and see the old country.

Cheers everyone - looking forward to learning with you!

Welcome to the forum.

What dates will you be in the Netherlands?
I'll post you on the Whos In Town page.
You can see who else may be in town and any Toke & Talks that are planned.

http://www.coffeeshopmenus.org/0-Hilver ... versum.htm A few Hilversum menus.

http://thekaart.nl/en-netherlands-hilve ... 216_0.html And a Hilversum coffeeshop map.

High,
Welcome to the Stoner Family... :)
Please remember, don't feed the Stoners.... ;)
Maine is a beautiful state; I was born in Camden, raised for a time in Rockport/Rockland/Vinalhaven.
My condolences on the passing of your grandfather... maybe take a moment at his resting place, light up a Dutch cigarette... ;)
...

Go figure there'd be a fellow Mainer here! Uncle lives in Rockland, have had some fun times up there!

Will be there 9/16-9/21

You have been posted on the September Whos In Town page.

You can see who else may be in town during your stay.

If you don't see yourself, click your refresh or reload button
Your browser sometimes loads pages from your local cache and
you don't get the latest update.

Watch for Toke & Talks, I post them up to the last minute.

Set yourself up with your own T&T or Toke and Talk, where you pick the coffeeshop (your favorite)
and the date and time, I will post it and you wait for folks to show up, if they do you'll have a
T&T. If they don't you still get to enjoy your favorite coffeeshop!

By default I link your posting to your profile page here on ACD.

https://www.coffeeshopdirect.com/forum/membe ... e&u=110088

I can change it to a web link ( myspace, facebook, personal page )
or an email address if you want.

You can do a little practice shopping on the Coffeeshop Menus page.
Any with arrows are less than six months old.

Any nice new menu pictures you can get will be much appreciated.
Always ask first, better told no than thrown out.
