Light lit coffeshops

Hi,
I really like The Other Side coffeeshop during the day because I'm a writer and it's nicely lit with windows, no neon lights, the music is chilled and I can write there... It's kind of like a quaint english coffeeshop but with weed.
Can anyone recommend similar coffeshops to The Other Side. Trying to avoid Easy Times or Bulldogs as they're a bit too raucous for what I'm looking for in the day time.
Thanks

Paradox, Utopia or 137. Get out of the center if you want to write in a more peaceful setting. Just remember Gay Pride is on this weekend and the city will be crazy until Sunday.

Upstairs at de Graal can be quite nice. Natural light, a small rooftop garden, comfy seats.

Homegrown fantasy.
Light cafe feel to the place. Always enjoy visiting here mid afternoon.

Spirit in the back, there's a skylight that lets some really nice light in. However, last time we were there, there were some people watching racing on TV - it wasn't over the top, but that TV could be distracting if it's on...

La Tertulia would be perfect.

not great imho --pinball machines could be annoying and the air quality is poor in this smoking fishbowl of a back room.

Yo-Yo would be good as well. I remember sitting in there with my netbook last year, thinking it was more or less designed for the purpose.

Was this horse racing? And from where? I've never been to Spirit. But betting shops are about the only way of wasting money that Amsterdam doesn't offer, and I'd assumed that there wouldn't be anywhere interested enough to show it on television.

Yo Yo is by far your best bet!
This is quite an exceptional coffeeshop - it's light and roomy, never busy (in fact it's usually empty!), and also functions as a gallery. You might even mistake it for someone's living room, with books, games and children's stuff lying around.
Some might be disappointed with the menu, however, as it's mostly organic outdoor grown weed on sale, although they also have some indoor grown weed now. So... bring your own favourite, buy some of their great home-made chocolate cake or apple pie and sit back and enjoy the light, peace & quiet!!

I was wondering about Sanementereng, a.k.a, Mr. K's. Anyone been there since they reopened?

It was auto racing.
