Yeah LaPlace rocks, this is my f'in cantina when I'm the Dam.Very Central location, wide choice, extremly fresh and local products, nice terrace and views and smooth price by AMS standards.Strongly Recomended!!

Great Report dude and was a pleasure meeting you! Pity it was on the last of the trip for us both

And yea, in my personal opinion, De Graal is king for quality low priced hash. That Gardela, and their Nepal at 9E I think were both just fantastic. Hashes of the trip and prices to match.

Hope I'll see you again mate on another trip soon!

the camera i use is a Canon Ixus 70 only 7 megapixels but it's pretty good for macro (closeup) stuff. http://www.canon.co.uk/For_Home/Product ... l_IXUS_70/ no tripods or anything just try to get strong direct sunlight & rest your hands/arms on something for stability

Wonderful, wonderful pics and a very informative report. Thanks for taking the trouble. I'm not going to like it but might have to check out a few Bushdoctor hashes eventually.

Do they do 1/2gram deals on those more expensive hashes? Like to 18-25 euro range?

ppg: Thanks for the tasty-looking photos and informative reviews. Blueberry Cheese from the Green Place is one of my all-time favorite Amsterdam smokes. Love the hash pics. Can you or any of our other very well-informed ACDers give some advice on how to judge hash from its appearance? I usually go to the Dam for one week and sample only 3 or 4 different kinds of hashes, but I always take a recommendation because, unlike weed, I don't know what to look (or smell) for. Do you look for a uniform color? Texture? What about feel or density? The harder the beter? Anyhow, thanks again for a wonderful travelogue!

Treetop, they always seem happy to do half grams (I've bought less) on their ice hashes, I have bought half grams of the others on occasion but usually only when I've bought some other stuff as well. If they refuse, you can always go around the corner and try again at the other bushdoctor :)

Opus- with lighter coloured hashes softer is usually better, means fresher. Darker coloured hashes vary in texture, but harder consistency ones are often good too. Caramello from club media, nepal and gardela from de graal, sherezade and bab bered from bushdoctor- can't really go wrong with any of them.
