Yes TC the troll did get what he wanted! Bravo as well! I am learning many things from this thread and the type of person I am now and where I'm at in my personal life and how good I feel.

I have to learn how to control my candor, lol as I write this contradicting myself .

Anyways it's been an experience with ACD ya'll! The troll wont get what he/she wants again. Because I'll just be meeting, or as Laz put so eloquently "interacting" with people and finding(or not finding) my way the old fashioned way.

I have to say, I think these threads, although conceived as crap, often become some of the more interesting/amusing/educational conversations.
The ACD is mostly quite laid back, as can be expected of a bunch of stoners and most are intelligent and respectful of each other and we rub along pretty well and enjoy each others company when we meet up.
I think it's easy to over react to minor provocation, (This was only a flame, the OP left it at one posting) in life and on the web, I hold up my hand ; but I'm uncomfortable with calls to take the thread down etc unless it goes really toxic, because it seems like censorship when i believe it's healthy to be stimulated by and discuss these things, I'm still learning how to enjoy this virtual world.
Which brings me to the subject of new folks dipping their toe into the cosy world of the ACD. Dont jump down their throats so easily or they wont come back, and they're what keeps the show rollin'. Most folks arrive with the good vibe and some pick it up, and some probably dont get it at all and some have lost the plot or never had one, but we have to give some slack sometimes. Obviously this thread was a flame, but sometimes people get zapped a bit quick .

Dont forget folks it's all good fun .

It's strange but we are these annonymous people on the web, but everyone I've met personally from the ACD has been the real article .

I spent a couple afternoons and evenings with gapie and had a great time. He took me to some cool coffeeshops and introduced me to some cool people. I never felt remotely pressured to buy him a drink or give him weed, he never asked for anything. I offered him a few drinks, sometimes he accepted other times he declined and I shared my joints with him as I would of done if chatting to anyone really. I enjoyed gapies company and he even got me a few euro discount in a coffeeshop and would definitely meet up with him on my next visit to the dam, top bloke imo.

Stans always bought his own weed and drinks when i've been with him. I've bought him drinks as he has bought me drinks so theres no problem there at all in my opinion. I've been away from the site for a while and i'm suprised to see this post.

Met Stan twice. First time was an arranged T&T in the middle of a fuckin snowstorm at Voyagers. I was staying there, Stan struggled in. We both bought the testing weed and after getting completely battered Stan produced some other Purple from GA which he gave me to try.

Second time was not long back when I was buying and flying at Utopia. Stan got the coffees while I got the gear, couldn't stay but we sat and chatted for a while.

Whatever happened to the old days? Those that had it or could get it shared it. Next time it was someone else that had it. What went around came around. Jesus H, if stoners are getting this tight with weed or a soft drink I will think twice about being around those who behave like that.

I have to say,...I usually only check my 'personal forum', daily and not been reading much, but when I saw this thread I had to read the first page and now the last page and ..

I just don't have the time right now to read the pages 2 and 3 but I will.. the forum has been a bit boring of late and 'was glad to stumble upon this thread( some reading material for later).. I have to say there were a few surprise comments, that left me with hope for humanity...

answer is YES. stan shared with me all his weed during my stay and I was very happy to do the same with him: my first joint this trip was offered by stan and it litteraly blasted me. he was nice and took care of me as I didn't smoke for a year. You rock bro! see you next time!

This only happened in my life when I was a student and we chipped in together and unfortunately never in 'Dam!

I also think a large part is how the price of both has rocketed way beyond inflation since the halcyon days of the guilder. It makes fucking London look expensive now.

I do think you should give the tour guide thing a proper go though mate as you would have a bit of extra change and are fucking made for the job!
