Places near museumsplein?

So another question, were lookin at booking our hotel on hotwire and found some decent prices around museumsplein, does anyone know of any decent coffeeshops that way for a morning or late night smoke on the way to and from the hotel?

Club Media and Katsu are in the same general area, but a little farther away.

Kabouter, near de Graal. Go east from Museumplein to visit these two shops, then further eat to Albert Cuypstraat area.

Thanks for all the help guys, though we now have managed to book in at a 5* hotel on dam square for not that much more money....good old hotwire haha
