Finally getting back to the dam :)

Post by strangename »

Well I haven't been to the Dam for about 5 years and I have finally got a trip booked for 11th December - 13th December under the guise of a business trip

I must admit that although I have been smoking for over 25 years and visited A-Dam a number of times I am pretty excited about this trip. It is even more sweet as my clients will be paying my expenses!

There are some great deals out there at the moment...return flights UK - Ams is £25 including taxes and I have managed to book a room for the 2 nights at Rookies for the great total price of €90 which I would consider as being a good deal...maybe someone else would know better?

So the plan of action is arrive in the city 10-10.30 am...go to my meeting at 11.15 am finish by 1-1.30 and then make my way to the hotel - check-in and then CHILL

If anyone has any suggestions as to what products I should try and from where then please let me know. Am travelling on my own so if anyone is there at the same time and want to meet up then I'm game for that as well.

Feel like a kid waiting for Christmas :)

Thanks for the pointers...have been looking through this site for some time in the hope that I would finally get the time to return so have already picked up many tips.

What's the web address for FlyByNights? Can't seem to locate it...or are my eyes just misting up with anticipation

I just returned from 10 days in the Dam. This was my second trip and I visited many places. The ones I enjoyed the most were the Bar/Coffeehouse combinations. La Canna was one such. Decent pot with resonably priced shots of Tequila and beer. Around the corner from the 420.

All the combo joints from Harlemstratt to Spui to Dam Square to the RLD (The Other Side) and in between ( about 10 - 20) Please understand it gets a little fuzzy in spots. Sometimes it was difficult to tell some of the Bars from the combos. But they were all great. Just seek out your music preference and settle in.
Burnt crisp outside...well done on the inside.

Heck that's me most of the time

Glad you had a gooed time Doc and thanks for the advice much appreciated.

I just need to find a reliable source for some "proper" Temple Ball...I'm an old school guy with old school tastes...and a reliable source of White Widow...I generally put the 2 together. So from what I can gather Stix is the place for Temple Ball (althought I used to get a great supply from Cum Laude back in the day)? Anyone point me in the right direction for some good Widow and does anyone know how good the Temple Ball is at any other places around town...thinking of Betty Boop. I don't mind paying a very small premium for good quality. Oh and if anyone has any suggestions for another weed to try with the TB that would be good too...am open to any suggestions.

Thanks for the information so far I do appreciate it...just like to get my trips in order before I set-off so I know what I'm doing.

Thanks FlyByNight for adding me to the list...would be nice to meet some like minded souls and share a J or six.

It was the same for me all those years ago when in the late 70's-80's good quality hash was everywhere...not anymore except for the rare occassions.

Thankls for the heads up cannibistourist must add your suggestions to my ever expanding list...appreciate it
