If you don't like coffee, don't drink it!
Why try to force yourself to like it?
I didn't like beer, I do now, and at times have called it nectar of the Earth.
I guess it's like going to a sushi bar with your friends and ordering grilled chicken. I guess it's about expanding one's palate.
There must have been a door there in the wall when I came in.

I learned to like coffee by having it with sweetbread and doughnuts at a young age. Dipping those in the coffee.....yum yum! And for me, nothing beats a cup of coffee with a joint. (a.k.a. "poor man's speedball")
Most people hate coffee the first time they try it, I know I disliked it, now I love the stuff, I can drink it white, black with sugar, without. In my experience it is like Guinness, an aqquired taste.
A freind of mine is a serious aficionado and he sometimes buys Kope Luwak, he made me a cup oncce, I was hesitant at first but oh my what a fucking cup of coffee, expensive mind.
I completely agree. I started when I was about 15 with drinking just black coffee. Hated it at first but after a couple of months I really started to enjoy it. I think that if you start with sugar you will much more slowly get to like the taste of the coffee itself.
Nowadays I always use fresh coffee beans which I hand grind and make the most delicious coffee with.

It's all about quality and good processing too...
Yeah that's the jist. There's so many coffee shops and varieties of coffee, I'd love to be able to sit in and actually have a coffee rather than a tea or coke.
Forced myself to like beer, tea and Jaffa cakes, coffee can't be much worse
Think I'm gonna start by drinking it black and then work out if I need sugar and milk.

A light touch of sugar, less than a pinch or dash, will bring out the roasted flavor.
I started drinking coffee when I was 15 and was without sugar. Never tried it with sugar until I was 18 and it was by mistake. Seriously, I can't think something more disgusting but I know it's me as I like bitter taste in general (with food beer etc.)
If you take your tea with milk than try a latte, hot or iced, I prefer iced. A latte is 1-2+ shots with frothed milk (hot) or just poured over milk and ice (cold/iced). Need a little sugar to kill the bite? Then get some simple syrup or a flavored syrup of your choosing. Vanilla + iced espresso is great IMO as well as espresso + Iced chocolate milk and cinnamon. Nothing like a caffeine buzz while your spliff mellows you out.

Ah yes in summer I always mix cold milk with ice, instant espresso and some caramel syrup. Awesome stuff.

Are you talking to me? Old timer said that. Just saying. Still love coffee, but it sucks when weed is added, unlike tea.
