Wednesday 21st august

arrived in Amsterdam from Glasgow around half 6 and got a taxi straight to voyagers (ill definitely be getting the train next time) got my room sorted up stairs I had room number 4 with the balcony type thing above voyagers front door, great room with a great view. so I threw my bag in and carefully made my way down the death trap stairs, I knew I wanted the bio lemon to be my first smoke so bought 2g of the bio lemon 1g la confidential and 2g el cid kush, the el cid was one I smoked at voyagers last September when they did there testing kush month so I was happy to see it back on the menu. came out of voyagers and still had a bit of time before the arsenal game started so decided to head towards the niewmarket. went in to greenplace and it was packed so bought 2g twizzla and 2g shoreline then moved on. by this time I had 9 grams in my pocket and hadn't had a smoke yet so found the nearest coffeeshop and went in this happened to be goa which I had only heard bad things about. The place itself is actually not bad good location and seating. my mate bought a gram of king kush which smelled ok but ended up being shite, rolled the first spliff of lemon put about 1.5g in and rolled the rest up for a twizzla mix, the taste of the lemon is amazing and exactly the same as last time definitely the best lemon around. it was pretty chilly in goa so we decided to smoke the king kush then leave I think we got about half way through the spliff then put it out I dunno about the effect it had but the taste was awful also didn't burn the best, after goa we decided to look for a bar to watch the arsenal game so thought the rld would be the best direction to head towards, seen it was on in hunters bar so went in there its an ok place kinda loud and the drinks are pretty expensive but its comfy and you can smoke and watch football. rolled up a gram of the la to get me through the start of the game while my mate went next door to hunters coffeeshop and bought 2g of kandy kush rolled a gram of that for half time and it wasn't the best not a bad taste but not close to the la confidential. smoked the lemon twizzla after the third goal went then went for some food. felt pretty unstoned after the pizza which is a sin in Amsterdam so went to greenplace and got some og pkn or nkp cant remember which one but it was lovely. stayed in greenplace till it closed then went to back to our room at voyagers and smoked what we had left. the el cid is powerful even better than in September I think and this batch of shoreline was very fruity. will try to get some pictures from my mates phone and post them.
will also post day 2 in the next couple days I just need to get the actual smokelist from my mate im pretty sure iv missed stuff from the first day.

Good write up, sad to hear about the king kush, havent been able to find it in stock in Amsterdam....lol those stairs are steep at Voyagers, but not worst weve experienced. Thanks for sharing

will post day two soon been informed from my mate that he bought hash from hunters that hes forgotten the name of but said it was good when mixed with silver bubble from green place which I forgot we bought, the silver bubble was lovely when smoked pure great strain for 10e

day 2 - Thursday 22nd august

woke up about 7.30 had a shower then rolled a gram of el cid kush I forgot I had, it was a lovely batch amazing taste and smell. Got my mate up around 8 then went for some breakfast we ended up going to a place called all stars at the top of the damrak it was ok only bonus was they were showing the champions league goals from the night before. After breakfast we decided to head to barneys as my mate had never tried a vaporizer, struggled to find barneys but we got there in the end. the menu was the exact same as it was a year ago but I didn't expect anything different, I bought 2 grams tangerine dream and my mate got 2 of the pineapple chunk as these were the best on my last trip, turned out to be shit this time though, we vaped a gram of the pineapple and rolled a gram of the tangerine dream. The pineapple had slight citrus taste but didn't have too much flavour this was the same with the tangerine dream it burned ok it just didn't taste very nice. had to smoke a small o.g npk mixed with some super bio lemon to take away the taste, the taste from this spliff was amazing I defo recommend these two strains in a mix.

After barneys we decided to go look for somewhere I had never been before so stumbled across betty boop, it looks nice from the outside is in a good area and has lots of outside seating, walked in and the guy with the dreadlocks was really friendly showed us everything we wanted to see and even turned on the light on the magnifying glass so we could inspect our purchases. I went for 2 grams of killing fields (tried this in a rokerj in 2009 was not impressed) this time though the purchase was made on looks alone, the buds looked perfect really frosty compact nugs with just a hint if purple showing. I also bought a gram of nyc diesel on the dealers recommendation, as I had bought what I thought was the most appealing on the menu and my mate didn't have the best of knowledge about bud I just told him pick a random top if the menu strain he went with sugar punch which did look and smell very good. buddah acquired we ordered some drinks then sat down and skinned up I rolled my self nice fat killing fields number and my mate a sugar punch spliff ( if anyone is going with someone who cant roll please get them a machine or cones as my patience was wearing thin after 4 days lol)
the killing fields was much better than the one I had from the rokerj very fruity and burned perfect, only had a few tokes of the sugar punch but enjoyed it, it had a unique taste but was really strong. after the spliffs we borrowed bettys own customised bong which was cool shame its plastic but still cool, took a couple bowls of the nyc with some twizzla on top the twizzla kinda overpowered the nyc in the bowl so cant really say how the nyc tasted but I was blasted leaving bettys.
one weird thing I did see in bettys which is debated a lot on acd was two youngish guys try to come in and just buy drinks only for the guy with the dreads to say "sorry guys I don't make money off drinks, you will have to leave" this was because they did not want to buy any weed or hash. This was weird to me because last September while in the dampkring a lady at the bar told two guys to leave because they were not buying drinks but they explained they had bought a lot of weed tbh I dunno whos right and whos wrong but just thought I would share this.

will finish the rest of day 2 later gta has me in a grip just now.
